I don't think you'll find one. I have yet to go to a Chinese restaurant in Tri-Cities that would survive in business in Seattle for one month. The best bet for Asian food in Tri-Cities is generally Thai.

sadly so, the Chinese food here is lacking. I agree with the statement above- you're better off with Thai (although, that could also be debated). However, when I need a Chinese fix, I go to Double Dragon on Clearwater in Kennewick. Expect heart burn, a strong desire to take a nap, and general self loathing afterward. The service, however, is friendly and quick. And every time we've called ahead to pick up food to go, the order was correct and ready within twenty minutes.

There's a reason I call it Double Bypass.

I'd still like to know why my favorite Thai buffet on Williams in Richland closed... They had the best thai buffet in the Tri-Cities with a huge selection and tasty food.

Our Thai/Vietnamese-Pho options are definitely better then our Chinese.

They started out really good, but towards the end there the quality fell off quite a bit.

The local Indian restaurant was in that building for a while, I think it's one of the "nutty landlord buildings" in Richland - the Indian guy said he was getting squeezed by his landlord before he moved.

Slightly off topic - behind the old Indian/Thai place, in the old Coffee Guys building, someone has set up a BBQ/Soul Food restaurant. Anyone try that yet?

That building has been undergoing some renovations, painted red, etc. I'm curious to see what will be going in there.

Well, I look in today's tricity herald and get my answer: a decent sounding pizza/sub/italian place. I would have preferred something completely different from what we already have in tri-cities, but it's not a chain or another mexican place so I guess I'll take it.
