Would someone please update me on what has happened to Drew Peterson's case? Is he in jail? Thank you,

A lot of lawyering going on. The trial has been delayed (and DP is locked up in the meantime, I believe) over the issue of admissibility of hearsay evidence, and DP's lawyers are trying to get other charges dropped:

I no longer care cause I think he is the scum of the earth and I do think he is guilty as sin of killing those women and the only ones I feel for are the kids and the familys of those women whom he killed Im sure of it . I get those bones feeling from my dad ( ex nyc police detective 3rd grade ) and my grandfather (ex former prosecutor and ada ) . So when they tell me someone is guilty as sin I have a sixth sense that they are right .

The Drew Peterson case is not clear-cut.
But the Scott Peterson case, OMG! I wish the mean bastard (sentenced to death) is going to be executed soon, has anyone some news of his fate ?

I think intuition plays a large role in detective/police work. Once you feel something, however, then you have to do the foot work to prove it. But, those inclinations of behaviors/human nature must be very helpful to people in that line of work.

When I read the thread title I wasn't sure if this was about Drew, Scott or Michael...sad that it could have been about any one of a few wife-killing sociopaths named Peterson

He will die on California's non-death row. I predict this state will never resume executions.

I'm not a fan of the death penalty in cases based solely on circumstantial evidence anyway.

I was wondering about this wacky Drew too...I check occasionally to see what is going on with him. Justice will prevail. What on God's green earth was the attraction with this bags under his eyes, homely, arrogant monster?
