Blast from the past.

Quote:
Condit, who testified in the trial on November 1, has refused to address the question of whether he had sex with Levy.

"We've lost our feeling for common decency," Condit told prosecutor Amanda Haines when she asked in court if the two had been intimate. "I didn't commit any crime. I didn't do anything wrong."

I do not understand, what is this supposed to mean? He killed her, because his DNA was in her panties?

I thought these two were having an affair, she may have been pregnant with his child, which would have put a crimp in his marriage, and thereafter she went missing. So, if they were having an affair, why wouldn't his "blast from the past" be in her underwear???

I don't normally follow these cases because they unnerve me, but several times when working late night I heard online radio interviews regarding this case. Criminal profiler, Pat Brown swears the man who is being tried for her murder as well as at least 1 other, didn't kill Chandra, although she believes he is a serial killer. She believes they offered that man life rather than the death penalty (DNA proves his guilt in at least 1 other woman's death), if he accepted responsibility for her death, too. A creepier, off-note is she also believes the same offer was made to the BTK Killer who she thinks killed only the last few people... none of the previous... law enforcement simply wanted to put the case to rest, or so she says.

She believes the place where she was found was too difficult a tourraine to attack, kill & haul a body to dispose of... also, it's an area far off the running paths, so it would be unlikely she went there on her own. Pat believes Condit had someone/several someones "take care of her". Perhaps, due to the privacy of the area, he lured her there & others were waiting in hiding. Maybe he met with her first, maybe not, but she thinks he is involved somehow.

Gosh, these cases are so creepy. Condit certainly isn't an innocent soul... he's a sleaze from way back. I hope the full truth is revealed, but no ill news about many politicians would surprise me. Chappaquiddick comes to mind.

He had a physical relationship with her but he didn't kill her. She ran into a random thrill killer in the park.
