Well, I'm a guy. But it could be my own brother and I'd do it in a heartbeat. Child pornography is the vilest thing imaginable, and is certainly not victimless.
Since this man would no longer be my husband (in my eyes or according to our vows) I would turn him in just and any other stranger I found out had child pornography.
If I were married to such a creep, I'd end the relationship right away and most likely I'd turn him in. Having a son myself, my feelings toward this topic are very strong, and I this is one of the few things that I would have absolutely no tolerance for.
I would immediately call the police if I discovered that anyone I knew was involved in child pornography. Even if someone has never molested a child they are still creating the demand for the porn and this will directly lead to the abuse of children all over the world. I have no pity for these people and long prison sentences are the only solution.
Exactly. Even if you still love your spouse in some way and want him to get help ... he is contributing to an underground industry specializing in ruining children's lives. He can get help in prison.

not only would i turn my husband in i would probably string him up myself. there is zero, zero, zero, zero excuse for possessing child porn, tho i will say that when pete townsend was carried in because his name had been flagged as visiting a child porn site i was flabbergasted, til i heard the backstory. which if you don't know it, you should check it out. he was doing research and happened to go down the wrong internet alley, so to speak.
In my in-laws' family, there is an Uncle who routinely exposed himself to younger female family members. And NOBODY DID ANYTHING ABOUT IT. So then he started molesting his two daughters. And, incredibly, NOBODY DID ANYTHING ABOUT IT.
When my daughter was two, we went to that city for a family reunion. The guy showed up. I took him aside and said, "I don't know if all the family gossip is correct, but I'm not willing to take chances. If you get within 100 feet of my daughter I'll cut off your balls with a spoon I'll sharpen on the driveway. Got it?" The guy dumbly nodded, got in his car, and left.
My in-laws family was pretty divided on my behavior. The way I see it, if you look the other way, you're practically holding down his victims for him. No compromises on this. If he needs psychological help, he can get it in prison.
