The topic is not whether or not you would STAY MARRIED, that is not even a question, I don't think anyone in the right mind would stay married to this person.
My bad. To answer the question: Yes, I would turn him in...and divorce him immediately.
Strange how often I see these days that 18-19 year old female "children" are being exploited by older men with no mention of the age men are required to sign up for the draft and have their head blown off by more propeller heads. I also don't suppose it helps that, due to our Franken food diet, girls now enter puberty 2 years faster than grandma did. This is especially interesting since all the facts tend to show males reach maturity even slower even from the time they walk and talk.
Now while I am certainly against child porn, as if it bears mentioning and is quite easy for me since nature has seen to it that most men are not wired to find biological dead ends attractive, I am also concerned about how easy it is to plop 26 images on a hard drive just like anyone can plant a little coke in the glove box.
I think I would like to know exactly what happened since well defined patterns and 4 year olds are one thing, but a 14 year old Dutch girl who passes for 19 is another.
Again, real acts of child porn are atrocious, but I am growing ever more concerned about crimes of possession. Keep your door locked if you don't like your neighbors because a usb stick and a phone to the Feds is all it takes. I was just looking for some gum in your purse and no hard feeling about the divorce.....
I am sure you were making a point somewhere in your usual "older women are unattractive" drivel, but as usual it is almost impossible to pinpoint.
i would immediately call the police if i discovered that anyone i knew was involved in child pornography. Even if someone has never molested a child they are still creating the demand for the porn and this will directly lead to the abuse of children all over the world. I have no pity for these people and long prison sentences are the only solution.
I don't think anyone said "NO!". Robee and I said that we are not sure and quite honestly it's easy for us to sit here and scream that we would turn our spouses to police, but the truth of the matter is, I really don't know for sure how I would react. I would insiste on psychological treatment and get a divorce, but I can't say for sure that I would turn him in right away. I'm sorry. It's probably politically incorrect, but that's how I feel.
I would have to go with what you said max as that is what i would do most likely.
Then you would be guilty of perpetuating sexual abuse on children. If you turn him in, the cops take the computer, the sites can be traced and hopefully busted and the crimes that have been photographed won't continue. Psychological help? They can't be helped, c'mon now! You would allow child rape to continue the next day and the day after that when you could have done something to stop it?
I'm sorry, I don't understand this at all.
Most of the time according to my uncle little can be traced because unless you catch them in the act of trading and know where they came from little can be done. He also said most of them use file sharing services which make it much harder to catch them then years ago. Most sharing basically is done peer to peer and very few involve websites basically.
This is too black and white of an issue...and extreme at that. In a marriage, there has to be room for understanding...and there are more quiestions about this issue, for example, where was the "porn" found? On the computer? How much is there? One random picture, or 10,000 images? What is "child porn"? a picture of little children naked playing in a sprinkler? Or hard core sexualization? All of these things have to be defined before making a decsion, and maybe having a picture is something harmless, after all, fantasies are not illegal...If a spouse had a picture, that was inappropriate, and then was defensive about it when confronted, then...the issue needs to be discussed more, with solutions..
All ye law-abiding citizens, thou all makest me sheddeth tears of joy
I question your family bonding if one incident would make you turn loved ones over to the cop and go give a 60 minutes on nancy grace. But you all float your own boats and go fishing, catch'em dolphins.
And while you're at it, take an oath like, till death and child porn do us part.
Pedophilia and child porn is a serious subject, anyone with any moral fiber and backbone should. Thats someones child they're watching, child pornography is a felony. The days of sweeping this crap under the carpet have passed. Any women who can lay down at night next to a perv needs her head examined.

I largely agree. But I think the marriage vows need to be rewritten. It should be made different.
I recommend these things to be added, based on popular CD opinion.
Off the top of my head:
Till death, porn, facebook, child porn, 10% fat increase do us part
