Maybe Baez is working on strutting around with his booty, hoping female jurors will just swoon and forgive his client. No chance!

I think your observations on race are correct.
I don't care anymore. If they choose the Death penalty--then there is an appeal process for that. I think that can go on for decades.
It seems likely that whatever the verdict there will be grounds for an appeal.
I suppose this is an example of the legal process but a very ugly picture has been painted.

It was answered on page 2. State of Florida taxpayers pay as she was declared indigent by the court.
her parents already are in foreclosure. They will make money later though probably, given the state of American media today. justicequest.com has specific legal info

Baez made many errors, lol....no longer is insanity an option for defense as it was not presented at opening of trial.
Female jurors swooning at his facade and poor diction??...I highly doubt it unless they live in a trailer park at Lake City or Loxahatchee.

And now we find out he can't even add 11 + 12.

All for a lie.
If she should happen to get off she should have to pay every cent back to every person who spent their time on this.

I actually think CA is a "rainmaker", look at the amount of money has come to Orlando with all the various media going there--eating, staying in hotels, renting cars, and the money being spent on psychoanalysis for her, various experts on shows--dedicated to her--discussing the case. She has generated more money into the economy than Obama!
Sad, but probably true.

----Smell This Can----
Ugh! I don't know about that. Either the smell is really in the can, or it is not. I can't deal with smells very well, if it is bad- I would be really ill. But if there is no smell, it might cause the jury to doubt all the forensic evidence discussed.
If I was the prosecution, I would not have the jury smell the "cans".

justicequest has a good update on the trial day by day.
Today as the research scientist was testifying, it just struck me how enraged Casey looked at everything...she is on some medication but its like the narcisssist mask has been lifted. Every1 sees what she is now.
