In this forum regular true crime posters often researched case transcripts.

She's one of Texas fortunate death row inmates. Average time to executions 15 yrs. She deserves a new trial.

yes she certainly does and you know what ? , no one seems to be able to tell me if darlie put that sock in the alley how come there is not a trail of blood leading up to it ? since the prosecution was so adamant about how bad she was bleeding why is there not a blood trail ? My husband says I would be a thorn in the side of a jury . I think I would be too . LOL I do believe she is innocent too . I do still think that if she died they would have been pointing their finger at Darrin .

The sock was one thing that started to convince me she was innocent. She wouldn't have had time to go that far away to throw a sock out on the ground! I think whoever committed the murder, simply ran off and the police only wanted to point the finger at the mom, because it was easier. They took the easy way out and railroaded an innocent person. Also, Darlie's injuries were significant, not the surface level wounds that the police claimed. I watched a documentary where she showed her scars. Her own doctor said her carotid artery was missed by only 2 ml, she could easily have died.

I believe they're claiming that she took the sock out, then came back and cut herself.

Not being familiar with the case, have the prosecution described how she got so bruised and cut if she committed the crime? Not making a judgement, just asking how they explained it.

yeah this is the very thing that was telling me she was innocent indeed , I have always said that the cops focus on one person and never look for anyone else and bingo next thing you know you are sitting in prison . Yeah the cops bungled this case from the get go and now they want to kill her and cover their arse and their mistakes up . I do hope she gets a new trial . the prosecution are smug as hell and they have themselves been accused of dirty deeds so I think that right there should give her a new trial .

that is just pure ignorance and I still think the jury was full of people who had never had any run ins with the law and or white coat syndrome . that sort of "well he is a dr , he knows sort of thing " again drs make asumptions when they really should do more investigating just like the cops and law enforcement . Yes drs make mistakes and so do law enforcement , only difference is they wear a different uniform .And usually it is not them paying for their mistakes it is the person they have made the mistakes upon .

Greg Davis indictment was adjustments on employees time sheets in the clerks office. To the judge who quashed it may not seem worth prosecuting, but it is theft and does make you wonder what else he felt privileged adjusting during his career. He has 20 death row convictions in Collins County.

From what I've read, Darleys husband was shady and needed closer investigation.

In the other Routier thread a post w/transcript testimony playing down the extent and seriousness of her knife wounds.
The Darlie Routier murder case...

I'd like to make a deal with her: New trial IF AND ONLY IF she agrees to drop all appeals if found guilty, and go directly to death row, and be next one in line. Throw a lie detector test in there too.

She is 100% guilty, she didn't even have an imaginary Columbian drug cartel to blame like OJ's defense did.
