For those of you that champion this woman and Lorena Bobbit’s actions, I’d suggest that you check your emotions, and use your powers of deduction.

Save for a few clear-cut cases, most rapes are dark, murky affairs. Most times, it’s only rape because a woman says so. The entire case generally pivots on how credible the woman appears. Therefore, women of questionable character that are raped usually don’t have a case because of their lack of credibility, which is sad. On the other hand, sweet little blonde haired blue-eyed Jenny putting on an act over a domestic disagreement with her partner can cry rape when it didn’t happen, and the man will lose, which is an outrage.

The bottom line with most crimes is that we should let the courts sort this out because it’s the proper venue. All one has to do is look at some of the responses throughout this thread, and it should be obvious why we’ve become jailor nation USA. The powers that be blast embellished crime stories through every popular form of media, so people have been duped into believing that not enough is done to prevent crime and punish criminals. People seem to believe every story that’s spoon-fed to them. Hence, we need somebody to prosecute, and blamo, another fabricated case and prosecution of innocent people for something that they didn’t do, never happened, or it was an innocuous crime that shouldn’t even be criminal.

We do not know what happened, we weren’t there, and there’s a court system in place to sort this matter out, so I think we would appear far more intelligent if we left our championing of vigilante justice out of the equation. Maybe he did do it. Maybe he didn’t. This could be a genuine rape or it could just be some disgruntled woman posing as an innocent victim, so how can somebody champion her actions without being 100% certain that she was justified?

It sure eliminates the unreliability of eyewitness testimony. They just have to match up the two cut surfaces, and voila.

If it truly was a rape then good for her, justice served.

I support castration in addition to a looooong jail sentence for anyone convicted of sexual assault, especially of a child.

Comparing rape by a male as comparable to rape by a female is truly comparing apples to oranges. Besides, rape by female is rare. Rape by male is not rare.
