Baez was just smoked by the prosecution today. I always feel a little sorry for the underdog....so I'll have to give him kudo's for at least giving the case the best of what he had to work with. It's hard to be confident when you know full well your client is a loon.

So if his client is a loon, why didn't he use that as the defense? Just looking for ideas here. Where's Morgain?

I think they did....but she's not certifiably insane.

I consider her a loon because she gave her attorney's nothing to work with.
There was no reason not to plea involuntary man slaughter had it been an accident.

The state, along with the media, did an excellent job of making people hate Casey Anthony. So of course she's guilty because she's a person who is easy to hate.
Nope - Casey did that single-handledly.

Here I am. I just got worn out on Casey Anthony for a while and took a long break! I haven't read everything yet.

As you say, "Nope"..........Casey Anthony did not broadcast edited videos of herself all over national TV. Casey Anthony did not hire tabloid TV hosts to hammer her almost 24/7 during the past week. I think HLN should have to pay the Anthony family something for all the money they have made from blasting away at Casey day-in and day-out for the past few weeks! Surely they have hit the jackpot.

Glory, did the state offer Casey a plea deal to involuntary manslaughter? If so, when did they do that?

What came out of Casey's mouth was her choice - particularly as it pertains to the jailhouse videos where she is absolutely clear she is being taped. Consequences, perhaps if she had some along the way Caylee would still be alive.

My point is that that information would not have been broadcast all over the world if the media had not pounced on this case as a money-maker. There are lots and lots of defendants out there just like Casey Anthony, but you don't know their names, do you?
