I don't think he should have been forced to resign. It was all an injustice done to him. He should get more money...

FYI- He was forced to resign because he was embarassing the dems and MOST importantlly his seat will just go to another democrat. IF his seat was a pivotal seat that a republican might win they would have rallied around him.

Where he went wrong was not learning from history and should never have lied about the thing in the first place. Had he just said he had made some bad choices and considered it a private matter then he would have been in much better shape.

It's just standard politics and really, it's his own party that pushed him out.
