Last time I checked, being "evil" wasn't a valid criminal charge in this country.
it is when the evil caused said person to kill a child. To kill--period!

Great. So we're both in agreement that she was on trial for murder and not being evil.

Glad we cleared that one up.

I feel for the jurors. I could not live with myself if I had to make the decision they made. I know in my mind that Casey is guilty of killing her child (I believe, accidentally) and disposing of her. Unfortunately, there were too many mistakes made by her parents and law enforcement that did not allow the evidence to prove that she did it. I hope it was all worth it for her in the end and she gets the beautiful life she wanted.

There is a juror now asking for large sums of money for interviews. For shame.

I'd argue that's all you did in your original post on the matter and I simply responded in kind.

Now, do you feel better?

In my opinion this case and situation is a perfect example of how easily some people can be manipulated by a sleeze-bag defense attorney.

All the moaning, complaining here is not going to change anything, it is over, Casey is now a free woman, it sucks but we all have to move on

It will be a very difficult case to prove.
What about fraud?

So if now the official story is that the child drowned in the pool and was never missing, the previous story of her being kidnapped was a complete lie and they committed fraud and made EquiSearch waste their money.

You are wrong. There is a petition for making it a federal crime to not report your child missing, that already has 45k signatures. We can still take action and prevent things like this from happening in the future. Don't be so complacent.
