I have a question:
After July 17, Casey Anthony will be free and released into the public as a member of society again. But after all this national coverage of the court trial (Nancy Grace, Headline News, MSNBC, CNN, Fox News, and the Internet), virtually everyone knows who she is and most people would be able to recognize her immediately, especially in Florida. Remember what happened to OJ after the murder trial in California? I think there was a situation where OJ was even refused service at a restaurant!!!!

My question is:
Regardless of this verdict, how in the world will Casey Anthony and her family be able to live the rest of there lives after all this?!?!?!?!?
Regardless of the verdict, the negative publicity has become a modern day "scarlet letter" for Casey Anthony. I read somewhere on MSNBC.com site that the Anthony family received death threats and hate mail. If Casey goes to any grocery store in Florida, all the mothers who will be shopping there at that time will look down at her with scorn.
Of course, she will eventually need a job to generate income so she can have a means to live. But who would hire her? If Casey works anywhere in Florida, she will be a distraction there because of the negative publicity. The coworkers will hate her. Protesters will stand outside her place of employment. There is no way in hell any school, daycare, or any establishment where kids are supervised will hire her after all this. I read somewhere that the neighbors of the Anthony family don't even want them living in their neighborhood anymore. :O
Her life after all this may become a living hell, and her life could potentially be worse than prison. :O
If the Anthony family moves to a different state, the whole country will recognize her and her family anyway.
Even if Casey writes a book, many people (especially mothers) all across America will just boycott any publication from her anyway. I was watching the news, and even Vivid Entertainment changed their mind about offering her a video deal, because so many people protested against having her in their videos. Even porn fanatics don't want to have anything to do with her. :O
OMG Such a situation is probably worse than those people who had to live under that tollway bridge in Miami because they were in that Florida sex offender registry! But how can she possibly survive after this trial? Even if she was acquitted on the major charges, it looks like she will face an even greater punishment in the court of public opinion. What are your thoughts on this?

I would have been disqualified in a heartbeat by the defense, too much education. Can actully make logical inferences based on evidence. Which is allowed, reasonable conclusions.

But some people just are not that bright.

I have a feeling that if they saw a video of the crime they would have still come up with some excuse they thought "reasonable."

Casey has never had a job, how long would you keep a pathological liar on your staff? She is a high school drop out, ansd now she has a criminal record for theft, and lying. As a person who used to get jobs for felons, she would be hard to place, she is not appropriate. For construction, she has no job skills, and no one w ill let her handle cash. We are left with possible recptionist, possible customer service, maybe shampoo girl. She would be difficult to place, maybe stripper, cocktails, she has zero referneces for employment, and her entitled attitude that she is too good for a regular job...

Forget about childcare.

The problem with people like Casey, is that they want to start at the top, they think they are so much smarter than everyone else. They have zero work skills, or work ethic. Even without her "fame", she is best suited for using others.

She is set for life.

She will get a lot of offers in the entertainment industry.

But wouldn't people just boycott any shows or books that she would be involved in?

My guess is she will make at least a modest living off it for a few years, the networks and magazines will pay for her interview (sleazy journalism at it's worst) maybe she will cash in big on a book/movie deal. But I don't see her "set for life". Her profits will last for about 3 or 4 years until people lose interest, she will party away and waste her money, and then expect to see her in jail again for some sort of check cashing or credit card fraud.

She will be released next week, my guess also is that her lawyer arranged some sort of house rental and comfortable living stipend under the presumption of her future earnings. I am sure her immediate future is all set up for her. She will be managed, probably by some public agent.

And that's what this really boils down to...the great old debate of natural law vs written law. Ideally our written laws should reflect the natural law, but this isn't always the case.

For example, if you were a cop, and you were called to a house where it was obvious the father was beating and molesting his child, but you couldn't prove it and you knew our shi**y child services departments would never take serious action, would you use illegal methods to get him arrested? Like maybe take a bag of cocaine and plant it on him ensuring he'd go to prison and wouldn't be able to harm his child again. Of course, this is hypothetically assuming you KNEW for 100% sure you wouldn't get caught.

It was NOT in the testimony- it may have been stated that way in the Prosecution's opening or closing- which is NOT evidence and the jury is instructed not to take it as such. This "head wrapped with duct tape" stuff is pure Nancy Grace.

There was one piece of duct tape hanging on ONE SIDE OF THE HAIR. This, on a skull that had been moved around by weather conditions, animals, and Roy Kronk. There was no DNA on the tape and no fingerprints on the tape. The best connection to where the tape started out is that it was a unique brand that was also found in the Anthony household. Other pieces of duct tape were found "nearby" the remains- not on the skull.

There was no heart sticker on the tape. There was testimony about a "heart shaped outline" on the tape, which was not photographed and later could not be seen at all. A puffy solid red heart shaped sticker was found somewhere in the dump site. Casey's heart shaped stickers did not match the found sticker. Hers were flat with fancy borders and white centers.

"Not guilty" does NOT mean innocent. We heard via the MSM talking heads a different story from what the jury heard.

I'm not defending Casey, I firmly believe she was involved, but just trying to bring in some facts about the evidence.

The capacity of people to watch the lowest form of entertainment has stopped amazing me. After all, look how long "Jerry Springer" has been on tv.
