Overall, I hope people will leave her alone and not bother her, but instead help her rebuild her life into becoming a better person.

I'll leave her alone but I wouldn't help her out of a burning building. NOTHING she could ever do could make up for what she's already done. At the very least, she partied while her daughter rotted in a swamp and didn't care. She's not someone who will ever become a good person.

I didn't understand what one of NG's talking heads was saying today. She said since Casey was in protective custody (isolated) in OCJ, she gets more gain time than an inmate who had a job?. Generally in FL counties you get automatic 5 days per month gain time off the bat. They put inmates to work and depending on the difficulty of the job they work their time off e.g., kitchen 9 days off sentence for every 7 days worked, mowing grass 5 days off for every 5 worked, etc. Usually protective custody or disabled, mental health , etc. are ineligble to work therefore they get the minimum time for the easiest job.
Also heard she'll be on probation when she leaves and can't leave Orange County w/o permission? I think I would have told the judge thanks but no thanks, I've been here 3 years already so when you come back with a deal where when I leave I'm probation-free we'll talk otherwise give me my 3 hots and a cot and toothbrush and a comb.

I read the letters that she wrote and I think she would rather be out and on probation than in jail. I'm sure jail is no picnic for people but she seemed to be having a pretty good time, checking out the males that would come through, talking about how hot they are, she couldn't wait to meet a hot guy to tell her how wonderful she was, getting the "tv" room to herself and watching "Friends" and "Seinfeld" all by herself, catching up on sleep, reading really good books, etc. etc.
However, she hated aspects of it because she talked about a "real toothbrush" and "real" hair care products she talked about a lot, "real" food...frankly I don't think it's going to bother her much that she's on probation, just as long as she's out and writing her book so her and her "bestest of best friends" "Cookie" and she can get an RV and go around teaching the word of God to the youth of this country.
Really, her letters are disturbing to read.

The entire defense team is to me a bunch of looney...
Mason with his middle finger up to the media or if we have to believe him to one person..UHm...but later Mason trashed the entire media wannabees and lawyers who according to him all wanted to be on the defense team but were refused.
Baez with his smirk on his face and one second stating that we have to think that a dead child was involved in this case, but a few minutes later the entire defense team was jumping up and down with champagne glasses.....what do we believe? Baez celebrating the gold train coming in and forgetting Caylee and dancing on her grave, or that he was so happy he fooled the jury and got the killer out?
The next day Baez was in NY to sign with a company to represent him for media deals...I know that is part of life, but to me it shows what he is all about. I wouldn't have mind it so much if he and the other team members would have danced and celebrated behind glass doors to show the entire world how they felt.
Even a Harvard law professor was appalled about that scene. He stated that the State should not have seeked the death penalty, but what the defense tema did afterwards was to him so out of place, he had no words for it.
I really hope Baez won't make the money he thought he would get and people refuse to buy his and Casey book, Mason's book and not watch the movie when they have the names added to receive the money and that the State will get the proceeds so we the tax payers get our money back from this lying person.
Baez might not be sued because under the system he is protected, but he has to live with the knowledge he on purpose destroyed George and Lee's name even more by wrongly accusing them of sexual abuse. That to me was so outrages and since I believe in Karma, some day he will run inot something and his name will be dragged through the mud maybe with a similar accusation.
If Baez could handle 3 years of being around a lying Casey, he might have become a person who got used to that and it might have blured his vision a little bit and not being able to see reality from "imaginary" things!

best thing for her is to change her name, move and get professional help and some schooling/work so she can start over.
She would be foolish to take some of the offfers such as appearing in a porno movie or mens magazines. If she is going to make any money to this she still has to pay back the courts 90K, her lawyers an I hope she puts the rest into good use.
I dont suggest she start dating or having more children. SHe is not emotionally ready for that.

I can't blame Baez for celebrating. After all the yapping from the talking heads (Nancy Grace, I'm looking at you) about his lack of skill as an attorney, he walks in there and delivers arguably the biggest legal upset since the O.J trial, in a case where almost everyone thought a conviction was a done deal.
Had it been me, I would have fist pumped by way out of the courtroom and issued a public statement along the lines of "blow me".

I believe Casey's release date from jail stands as July 13th but they released the date of the 17th to the press as a decoy. The objective being to quietly slip Casey out on the date as planned and then on Sunday, drive a few SUVs with tinted windows around in different directions for a short time.
The reason they released a date four days later was to give them time to get Casey to her destination (whatever that might be) and settled in before people begin to look for her. Just my two cents worth.

NOTHING can make up for what she has done. I'll change that to I, seriously, doubt she'll change and wouldn't give her 2 cents if she did. Justice will never be done in this case. She deserves, at least, life in prison whether she changes or not and I really doubt she will. Anyone who can party while her child rots in a swamp is not even human.

She'll be vilified like OJ. Constantly scorned and harassed by the public; unwanted in pubs, restaurants, and other venues; unable to truly walk free on the streets lest somebody try to kill her. The book publishers won't touch her for years and when they do they'll have to do so anonymously.
