I just wanted to pass this on.
Jeff Ashton was on Dr. Drew tonight and they were talking about the upset and anger that people have toward Casey Anthony, Jose Baez and even her family and he said to act on this anger in any way would dishonor Caylee and that the way to honor her was to turn that angry / negative energy into positive action ... doing something to benefit children for example.
It's understandable that people are upset but i think his request is most important.
All children are beautiful but there was something about that little girl (just from the little i've seen on t.v.) that was really special.
So i hope that people will take the attorney's request to heart.

Fine, but in my opinion, the best thing Casey Anthony could do at this time, is just quietly fade away. No magazine stories, or books, or movies, or tv show appearances. That would be the best memorial for her dead daughter.

We will see how much class she really has, and how much she cares about her child's memory.

Who's he to say what will dishonor Caylee?

Granted, violence towards any of the parties involved is not the answer, but being passive isn't the answer either. People should use this case to tweak the system and see what needs to be done to to make sure it will never happen quite like this again. I like the idea that one of the first steps was to try put better laws in place in regards to having to report the death or disappearance of a child in a timely manner.

It isn't so much about honoring ....as it is to be willing to change and make better the laws we currently have in place or are missing. This is how societies evolve.

Jeff Ashton was simply asking that people channel their anger into positive action and suggested that an example of such positive action would be to do something to help the plight of children.
Positive action can take many forms.
So it's not about being passive but rather, it's about being creative and constructive with the energy that this drama has stirred up.

I agree.
But it seems likely that she'll milk this situation for all it's worth and, unfortunately, it'll probably be worth a lot because of a huge percentage of the population that will feed on her garbage.
There would be no movie, t.v., book and magazine deals if there was no market for it.
HLN, who's ratings have skyrocketed because of their coverage of this case (which, i admit, i have appreciated), will condemn and judge Casey Anthony if she profits from this drama and yet they are the ones who have sensationalized it and they have profited greatly from it.
This, in large part, is a cultural issue having to do with the media and the degree to which people are hooked into, addicted to and mesmerized by it.

Really if we all could resist the temptations that apeal to our worst human condition and refuse to buy, watch and listen to Anything Casey Anthony related I think that would honor Caylee to the highest degree! If that is considered too passive then I suggest we boycot all forms of media that engage in further exploitation of Caylee Anthony! Let the parent companies of HLN,TruTV and print media know that further attempts to make money from this will result in loss of viewership which leads to loss of sponsership(advertisors)!

Allowing her mother to resume her partying as if little Caylee never lived dishoners Caylee in the greatest way. While I don't wish to see violence against Casey, I hope she has a miserable life.

Alowing her mother or grandparents to profit off of her death would dishoner Caylee. I agree on letting the media know this as well. It is time to let Caylee rest and the family that failed to protect her and, ultimately, killed her be left to deal with what they have done.

I posted this again because it seems a large majority of you have ignored it. You cant rant and rave all you want to, but just face3 it, JUSTICE WILL NEVER BE DONE in this case. Take your energy and turn it into something positive.

Our system does not always work for the innocent or the guilty, but its the best one in the world
