I wonder who it is???
It does involve Cindy....but she could've been the one tampered WITH, as opposed to the person who did the tampering.

I could be wrong, but I do believe a mistrial can be declared IF there is proven evidence of witness or jury tampering. I suppose it would depend on the severity and if it could've changed the end verdict.

Here is what I found on the subject:

A retrial is only granted if there were serious errors in the original trial requiring a reversal of the verdict, and the court finds that a new trial should take place.

I've heard through the grapevine that this investigation may have been elevated to the Federal level, although I don't have this from a reliable source.

I called work to see if anyone had heard any rumors....but at this time there is only speculation.

Good gosh....I'm not sure we could even afford a new trial. Then again, lots of people would be willing to chip in................

Lightbulb yeah but...

What about Ms. Baez? Thought she was going to get sanctioned? Personally, I felt from the beginning that Casey and her lead Defender were wrestling around under the desk...or at least she was.

Kind of like for the Jello Mold Fountain repairs? Pass the hat around Lake Eola, a few fundraisers for the City here and there? I'd chuck some coinage into that fishbowl.

A cute semi-related story:

The last place I lived, a little old lady thought that the township's sole police motorcycle seemed lonely, so she paid for a second fully equipped Harley for the police department.

Oh okay, Cindy is the one tampered with!
If they can prove something like this then maybe the defense team will not be celebrating quite so much.
I can still see the image of Simm's jumping up and down with her curls bouncing.

annerk,
Did you consider going to the Behind the scenes Casey Anthony trial: See behind the scenes of the Casey Anthony trial - Orlando Sentinel tomorrow?
I work there and will be there anyway. Just maybe we'll know something more about the tampering by then.

It costs $10 to the public, but the parking is being provided for free.
