Baically its happened many times before. Rememeber when Hemsley was the most hated woman in america they said and she murdered no one. The authorites do not make many accused wear bullet proof vest for nothing in so many cases. There is always some nut around who even will stalk people who have done nothing but make a movie. There are always crazy people around that have nothing to do with people who believe justice has not been done. What scares me the most is when jury memebers stated they found her not guilty because the prosecution did not proof things that the law does not require in the elements of murder. It make one wander about the jury even bothering to look at what must be proven beyond a reasonable doubt in order to prove a case. Its like they watched too many televison shows.

It can't be a good system when innocent people are put in prison and guilty people are set free. I have watched a few trials and it soon becomes clear that it is a huge 'game". It is about who can convince the jury that their scenario is more plausable. Truth often goes out the window but what other system can we use......... maybe use a board of judges and no jury.... who knows?

Can't wait 'til stupid Casey has sex with some other stupid, and she has another baby.

Casey's Mom had better start firing up Google. I understand that chloroform is quite affordable.

If letting guilty people go free stopped innocent people getting executed actually happened..... then the trade off would be worth it but that is not the case.

The jury system did NOT fail. The prosecution failed to make their case.

No one should ever be convicted of a crime on insufficient evidence.

It wouldn't make a differance innocent people will always be found guilty and the other way around no system will change that, the best thing is just do not get ourselves into a situation where we will be on trial

She wasn't not guilty. There was only a lack of physical evidence because her lies led the police on a wild goose chase rather than to the body of her 2 year old child rotting in a garbage bag in a swamp. She IS guilty.

The prosecution did a great job....as did the detectives in this case. The jury simply misunderstood that the prosecution did not have to prove cause of death in a circumstantial case. Perhaps the jury should have payed closer attention to the instructions of the judge....rather than dreaming about how much money their interviews may get and how many shows they could appear on.

So, it's fair enough for the OP to ask the question as a discussion point.
