Agreed. Being i infamous often attracts fans . Richard Ramirez is a good example in how he had numerous female fans and was even engaged. I don't know what goes through some people's heads.

Many crazies fall for people behind bars.

I once saw someone on TV that was related to the kidnappers of Freddie Heineken (Heineken beer) and he was also a criminal. I recognized him as seeing him at my kids elementary school and him picking up a cute boy almost daily.

The day after broadcasting the show it was like he was a honey bear as so many women were surrounding him and he was the most popular guy around like a movie star while we were just afraid that one of his ex buddies who seem to have a price on his head for snitching would drive by and shoot him... very weird to witness that behavior of the public.
