I'd love to hear his reactions to getting his ass handed to him by Baez and Cheney and why he decided to put expert witnesses on the stand who contradicted each other.

Ok folks, just ordered.

I was pretty dishappointed with the dr. phil interview though. Not because of what he had to say, I actually noticed more passion in what he was saying today..... Just phil didn't really give him all that much time to talk. Mostly played back scenes from the trial and his interview with G & C anthony and asked " whats your response to that?"

I think this is gonna make for an interesting book though.

I've heard from a few people who are reading the book that it is quite enlightening. One thing in particular..........see spoiler if you want to know.

Spoiler
The plea deal that Casey's attorneys tried to get her to accept during the trial in late June. She would not listen to them. It paid off for her.

I haven't decided whether to read the book or not but I hope Jeff Ashton does well with it.

Seems that both sides knew they had weak cases.

Taking a plea deal doesnt necessarily imply guilt. I don't think Baez thought she would be found innocent on all three counts, but you're right, it did pay off for her to hold her ground. She was willing to stick to her innocence regardless of the outcome.
