Today Casey Anthony's attorneys go back to court to try to get her out of paying the State $350K for expenses incurred in the search for Caylee.

It seems straightforward to me. She lied. She admitted she lied. She was convicted of lying. The lies resulted in more than $350K in expenses in the search for the missing child Casey lied about. FL allows for recovering expenses for bogus claims.

There is no defense for this. She needs to pay the State and quit wasting the Court's and taxpayers' money.

I hope SOMEBODY buys her stupid damn book so she has some income to repay the State.

Well I don't. Let her spend the rest of her life swimming in a pool of debt. I'm sure FL. taxpayers wont mind.

Let's garnish her non existent paycheck. Can't get blood from a stone.

She owes the state money, I hope that we are NOT paying Baez for this...the "Casey Anthony" free check to Baez NEEDS to END....

I hope she won't make a dime but will get the judgment against her for repayment.

Baez made such a fool of him self as well as the rest of his defense team after they won the case, that he deserves to end up with no money from this case....that will make another defense lawyer think twice next time.

Baez might have won this case but IMO he lost big time, and I believe the public opinion is not behind him at all...

For real, everyone needs to leave beautiful Casey alone. She is innocent and society needs to repay her for all her troubles.

I truly believe in reparations and this is a perfect time for society to repay this women financially.

You are fairly new to CD so I don't know whether to take this as serious or sarcasm.

Ditto.

I think this person is literal though, unbelievably

Not surprising though, every killer has their groupies and followers. Here is another post from this person in another thread

They are either disturbingly serious or they are a troll one the two.

How do you know she did nothing wrong? The reason she was not convicted was because there wasn't enough evidence of how her daughter died but that does not mean that it is clear proof that Casey had nothing to do with it.

Do you know something the rest of us don't? If so, share it. Otherwise, spare me your love fest for CA.

Some people can't seem to wrap their head around the difference between "not guilty" and "innocent"

Baez's 15 minutes of fame ... it doesn’t seem like that long ago that he could walk in total anonymity. No one knew his name or occupation. Then in 2008 he took on Casey Anthony as a client.

Anthony is not a client Baez would have normally defended. “My practice is predominately Hispanic,” he told the Hispanic National Bar Association conference in Dallas. “I just happened to become famous by representing a white client.”

For now, Baez says he wants to go back to his old life. He hopes that the anger aimed his way subsides.
