I remember reading a short story a long time ago about a couple of cops coming over to a lady's house to ask her questions about the disappearance of her husband.

The lady invited them to stay for a meal she was cooking on the stove. The cops agreed and they sat around the table eating the supper while the cops asked questions.

After they ate, they decided that she wasn't the guilty party because there was no evidence and left.

She had been cooking her husband and the cops ate him for supper.

WHAT was the title of that story?!!?!

Life does imitate art.
Good grief,

It does. A book was written resembling the story of the Titanic 14 yrs before the ship sank.

Goodness that is a sick woman .... Hannibella Lecter's parole was denied. She has served 20 years of a 25 to life sentence so, in the future, she will continue to appear before the parole board.

She married a man in his 70's while in prison. Apparently they let her out for three days for a conjugal visit ... I bet he didn't let her cook for him.
