You never know how often these monsters get away with something like this until there's a little slip up, like this one. That, or this was the creeps first attempt and he wasn't too good at it.

I was discussing this with a friend, A retired Cop yesterday. It's usually a small detail that gets them caught. Thankfully this maniac did not turn into a another Gacy, Who had so many victims buried under his house. It's scary the level of terror and violence one person can be capable of. I saw a documentary on the "Night Stalker" Richard Ramirez, And it made me double check the doors and windows twice before going to bed!

Monsters do exist, Unfortunately.

So, they are sure he has not done this before? I have the impression that most lawbreakers get away with it many times before they are caught unless they are incredibly stupid.

Maybe this is the first time he ever went this far, or the first time he ever failed to kill the victim and dispose of the evidence.

It sounds reckless..like an amateur. Glad he got caught either way.
