Here is also very interesting reading: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerry_Sandusky
It states: “Sandusky is married and has six adopted children. He also took in foster children.”

Of course there is going to be attention on how our Children and Youth services did their job. There was one case where a natural mom opposed placement of her son with the Sandusky’s. We haven’t heard anything from his own adopted children, their foster children or his wife.

This whole thing is a mess and it will not go away.

Great.

The real issue is that often, victims of child molestation, sometimes become molesters themselves, either because it is out of displaced shame, and rage, or confusion about boundaries and sexual relationships, because they got completely messed up information at a very impressionable time.

I am sure young men that have been ashamed and buried those secrets in their subconscious will now come forward. Seeing others bringing the truth out will help all of them. There is no telling how many young children this monster abused.

I read the article yesterday about Sandusky taking in foster children and having adoptive children. Such an evil man. With that bedroom set-up in the basement I wonder if his wife had any idea of what was going on.

McQuery won't be coaching on the sidelines for the rest of the season...had too many death threats (which is unfortunate) but ultimately it's a good thing that he isn't out there.

Interesting theory about McQuery maybe being a victim himself. I know when people have been abused, there is a syndrome that is called "disassociation" where the person just completely shuts down and checks out mentally if they find themselves in an abusive situation or around abusive people. It's somewhat like just "freezing in place". He may have run as "fight or flight" reaction. Not making excuses for him, but it is possible.

LOL. The irony of you misreading my post then getting upset and writing exactly what I was saying is pretty funny.

Texas is now looking into possibly charging Sandusky for what took place when he brought a boy with him to the Alamo Bowl.

So now my question is, if he crossed state lines with the intention of committing a felony, the feds can go after him too, right?

I need to look at the time line on this, wasn't the grand jury in 2002? And didn't Sandusky stop working for Penn State in 1999? Why is this all coming out now? Why the delay?

The GJ came about because a high school reported Sandusky to police in 2009 after he molested a student.

The 2002 incident, which was never reported to anyone, became part of the GJ investigation. The 1998 incident was investigated by University police and also became part of the GJ report.

The GJ report involves 8 victims and multiple incidents of abuse.

Though Sandusky stopped coaching for PSU in 1999, he was granted 'emeritus' status, which included an office, access to their facilities, and other priveleges.
