Oh I agree, I believe she did something to her son and possibly he was never in the car. That was just staged IMO.

Interesting that Sky looks exactly like his father...maybe seeing him all the time reminded her of her ex-husband. If she has mental issues (beyond OCD), then maybe she couldn't stand having the boy around.

KIRKLAND, Wash. - Police searching for a missing toddler found several items of interest Saturday while combing through a Kirkland park for evidence - but it's not yet clear if those items are related to the case, officials said.

Crime scene investigators uncovered several items that are being sent in for analysis but warn there are still no signs of missing 2-year-old Sky Metalwala, whose mother claims he disappeared while she walked to get gas for her car.

The items of interest were found Saturday during a search of Watershed Park in Kirkland - and one discovery was important enough to call in a forensics team.

"They found something of interest," said Carla Iafrate of the Bellevue Police Department. "We called out our CSI investigators, they showed up and looked at the items."

The search teams used rakes and shovels - a potentially grim indicator of what crews were doing in their search for Sky.

Law enforcement is keeping things pretty close to the vest, that's for sure.

SEATTLE -- For the first time since Sky Metalwala's disappearance two weeks ago, his mother is apparently sharing her side of the story through a series of e-mail exchanges with an ABC News reporter.

Correspondent Neal Karlinsky says he contacted Julia Biryukova this weekend through an email address that Biryukova's family says belongs to her.

Biryukova had told Bellevue police she ran out of gas and left 2-year-old Sky in her car while she walked to a gas station with her 4-year-old daughter. Since then, police claim the car had plenty of gas and the mystery around what really happened that day remains.
