Well, Craiglist is just the new version of the personal ads you used to see in the paper. People have been killed answering those, too -- remember Leonard Lake and Charles Ng, not to mention Harvey Carignan.

You don't hear that much of pimps robbing the johns when they show up. I think I heard that happened more frequently before the internet. I guess, when the girls advertise online it makes 'pimpdom' redundant.

They seem to bring chauffeurs now who hang around and act as bodyguards.

I suppose the pimps just used street walkers, who are the lower echelon of this profession. It seems that a lot of them, the online advertisers included, may be drug addicts.

There are these girls on site such as Craigslist, streetwalkers, and then there are those cases of human trafficking that we hear of, many in this country - slaves, girls who don't speak the language and were lured into a trap with the promise of other jobs.

What dogs men can be. Worse, even.
