Can anyone create their own "missing" person poster and send it to various agencies?

There is a situation regarding a guardian who is attempting to locate her grandaughter and we are wondering even if we can send out our own poster to various hospitals/inpatient care centers etc.

The police are very slow to respond to our request.

Absolutely, print them out and distribute. Nothing would stop me.

Best Wishes

Yes you can make flyers and posters. Hand them out and post them in areas that will allow postings.

Is this an adult grandchild? Have you checked out NamUS?

Sure why not> Post them in high traffic areas such as in store windows. Some stores even have bulletin boards you could tack the poster up to. Of course you need to ask someone in the staff before posting them. Hang them up at laundry mats, everywhere.
