Another ho, ho, ho! ^^^^ Ya never know though! I have seen 6 people I have encountered in "real life" on the news, one being an ex-fiance!

Yes, let's hope we are all good boys and girls for the coming year.

I doubt it would have made the True Crime forum ... but this week grandson and I headed to Wally World to look at a cover with keyboard for his iPad2. We got into the electronics dept ... one cashier at the register. It is a little area gated that holds all the more valuable small electronic devices and the cash register.

A man had walked into the area before us and he asked to see video games in a locked case. I asked the clerk if she would unlock the iPad keyboards when she finished with the guy.

The guy picked out a stack of video games and they proceeded to the cash register. I followed so she wouldn't forget we were standing at the keyboards. I was standing beside the guy and he slid his credit card through and there was a problem. The cashier said let me try to enter that manually and as she spoke she hit the latch on the little gate beside her. He hesitated but handed her the card ... she turned and said I have to get a managers approval on this ... he said NO ... and and was reaching inside his jacket ... my first thought OH MY GOD I AM GOING TO GET SHOT IN WALMART.

I turned and grabbed grandson and said let's get out of here NOW ... he is a typical teen 'what's wrong?' HUSH JUST HUSH ... I had him by the shirt sleeve almost dragging him along. In the meantime the guy was shouting give me back my credit card and chasing the cashier as she ran for help. He had pulled money out of his jacket not a gun ..whew!!

The credit card was stolen and two cops responded to the call and arrested him.

Happy New Year to all True Crime Sleuths!

Good thinking on your part. I would be standing there either slack jawed in awe or totally oblivious, whistling a little tune.

Wow!

I called my daughter the other day,
"whatcha doing?",
"well, Mom, right now I am testing guns, and seeing which ones will fit into my handbag."
"Okay, I will talk to you later"

I guess that is a typical phone conversation these days.
