We could have been watching that house in Pakistan for a long while. The US government is not above planting misinformation to the press. I think the police must do it often(when they can) to be able to detect false confessions and sometimes to give misinformation to the perp.

Do we know much about pyromaniacs? Do they feel badly for the victims? Is it just the flames that fascinate them? Can they be rehabilitated?

A lot of serial killing is sex linked and diminishes as the perp ages. Is this similar for fire lovers? Do we know how this starts, in youth?

I have heard that tests to become firemen try to screen out these people since that profession is a big draw for them.
