This breaks my heart ... I could just squeeze him too! You can tell from the picture the smile and the happy eyes that he is a joy ... using 'is' instead of 'was' since I am hoping he turns up in Atlanta or SC somewhere alive.

This could not possibly look worse. That poor little boy. At least it isn't a big mystery what happened.

A friend of Zinha Jennings said Zinha stopped by her house to visit in early November. She had Amir with her and wanted him to say 'mama' ... he wouldn't talk and the friend said Zinha squeezed the child's hand so hard he screamed and started to cry. The friend's young nephew was visiting and he walked up to Zinha and she pushed him away ... actually the friend said she shoved him.

I don't think they are going to find Amir alive ... we will once again learn of skeletal remains with no cause or manner of death. All these mothers have to do is hang in there and keep their mouths shut until their baby is completely decomposed.

I hate this he is precious and appears to be such a happy baby boy.

The police have called off the search for Amir Jennings. Zinah Jennings Amir's mother has been ordered to have treatment for her mental illness for a year and has been told to take Risperdal, which is used to treat symptoms of schizophrenia. He also said she needs prenatal care.

Sooooo Amir has disappeared ... his mother is nuts and on top of that she is pregnant with another child.

Zinah Jennings, the mother of missing Amir, has been in jail since last December. She is in her third trimester of her pregnancy and she has been prescribed a medication used to treat schizophrenia. Jenning's attorney has been in court two times this month attempting to have her released from jail while her case is pending.

Jennings still will not talk to the police about the whereabouts of Amir. She is in solitary confinement, not allowed visitors nor outdoor yard time due to two altercations at the jail.

I wonder what schizophrenia medication will do to the baby she is carrying!

I just hope Amir is alive and well somewhere.

Amir Jennings

The trial started last week in Columbia for Zinah Jennings, the mother of missing Amir Jennings. Amir has been missing since last Thanksgiving. Then the trial had to be delayed Friday while Jennings gave birth to a baby girl!!! The judge let the case proceed yesterday, four days after the birth ... well that's how the pioneers did it ... gave birth by the wagon and kept the wagon train moving on ... way to go judge!

Jennings is charged with unlawful conduct toward a child and if found guilty can receive up to 10 years in prison.

Prosecutors called 40 witnesses and rested their case this morning. The defense will present their case after lunch today.

Interesting how quickly this case is going to trial. Yet, in the case of Nubia Baronha, there is continuance, after continueance...she died over a year ago, and they just have all these discovery hearings...Same with Baby Gabriel, he has been dead over three years.

I think maybe because she wasn't tried for murder, but child endangerment. Amir has never been found, dead or alive, and the "mother" has never revealed what happened to him. Unfortunately, she will only spend 10 years in prison.

It's also sickening that this baby has generated no public interest. Only a handful of people have shown any interest or concern in this little boy.
