I don't quite understand the shock-and-awe, and some of you PRETENDING to be so surprised about this topic. Women as well as men have been having sex with dogs and horses since antiquity. Also, the Bible mentions beastiality...so please folks, please stop playing stupid.
I find it so strange that some people seem to accept this so easily.

Bestiality have been around for generations, and it is very common in farms, where there maybe a shortage of willing female or male partners. In farms, these men will use cows or horses. It could be that he is a farm man, used to using animals for sex, unable to get himself a female or male, at the time he was in heat, and the dog was available. It could also be that he likes a butt more than he likes a vagina.
Prisoners in jail often use other men to satisfy their needs. Let's be realistic: When a man is in heat, he will stick it anywhere.........
These behaviors are atrocious, but they are very common......

LOL WTF? When did anyone say anything about HS students screwing dogs? High school students are not children. Every single male adolescent has seen porn by age 14 and they don't need to be taught about this stuff. They figure these things out for themselves. A lot of them smoke, drink weed ect in high school and it's not anything new. I'ts been going on for a LONG TIME. If you havent' smoked a cig by age 17, you're never going to 99% of the time. People just seem to forget what HS is like when their years and years removed from it and they seem to picture these young people as little children

Although there is increasing evidence that gay people are born gay, there are still a few professionals who are holding out against that theory. I have never read a study that said pedophilia is a condition a person is born with.
I do tend to agree with you, though. I think most sexual inclinations that are not the norm are either there from birth or develop at a very early formative stage and are probably indelibly imprinted on the person.
I think that the thing that is wrong with sex, the thing that should merit legal action, is a disproportionate amount of power between the two parties. So, children and adults, rape, humans and animals - situations in which either there is no consent to or in which one party lacks the mental or physical power to be able to make a judgment to enter into that type of relationship. Even if a child (or animal) appears not to mind, it still should be a crime.
We look at it differently (legally) if two children are exploring in a playground, just as we see it differently if two animals are enjoying themselves in a zoo.
