What a FANTASTIC video. As harsh as it seems, perhaps young kids should be shown this video.
First of all...so they know WHY they shouldn't stray from the adult they are with and second of all...
so they will have a picture in their mind of how to react.

I'm going to bring up the subject with my daughter regarding my grandson.

You know, if I saw a kid struggling like this, my first thought would be that they were
acting out due to not getting a toy. (I've had to haul my kids out of a store on more than
one occasion when they were young.) So, I think it's also important for kids to yell out
loud that they don't know the person taking them.

I agree with GloryB. Kids need to understand when they are in danger and what to do if nthey are.

I also agree with GloryB. This video should be MANDATORY watching for every child in this country!!! It so good to see even one kid escape the fate that is trying to get them. I think this video has helped most of us who have been "talking" in this forum. One spark of hope helps lessen the horror of what seems to go on daily in this country.

Sex abuse and kidnapping prevention should be taught in schools, but of course too many parents these days would protest, so it wouldn't fly.

Sad that parents have ruined things that schools used to be able to teach children.

The education was never that great, honestly. They normally only tell you to be afraid of strangers, when to a kid, you're no longer a stranger after you've spent 2 minutes talking to them. They don't say what to do if it's your grandpa.
