Great point! Clever wording...

There have always been and will always be crazy, wacko, psycho, et alii people out in the world, nothing will stop them and there will forever be ways for them to perpetrate their dastardly/horrific deeds!

He didn't shoot his daughter, he shot his daughter's laptop. The way I see it, the father was right. The daughter was being a brat.

This is the YouTube video of the daddy explaining why he shot the daughter's laptop. It has received almost 4 million hits since he posted the reason he did the deed.

Sorry, I didn't post it the way it came out it just did that on it's own when I posted the link.

But, seriously, using a gun? Why not just take it away from her. It's a bit extreme.

It's called getting his point across to her after warning and disciplining her for doing the same thing three months prior. Obviously, the previous grounding she was given did not have any impact on her. She thought she was slick by blocking her parents from her seeing her Facebook page, then proceeded to badmouth them in a VERY disrespectful manner to pretty much anyone who could see her Facebook page. Probably millions.

Kudos to Dad for being a PARENT instead of trying to be his daughters friend. This kid is a BRAT of the highest order. I have NO problem with what he did. In fact, I'm glad he did it. Sends a message to the daughter in no uncertain terms. Hell, if I knew where he lived I would gladly replace the ammo for him!

It's called PARENTING.

According to our local news the dad, Tommy Jordan, received a visit from Child Protective Services and the local police after his video went viral. The YouTube video received more than 21 million hits in four days.

Notice the poll on the TV station's article and almost 6000 people voted "Way To Go Dad!"
