A man who was threatened with jail time for posting comments about his estranged wife on his personal Facebook page unless he posted daily apologies for a month says the court ruling violates his freedom of speech.

Mark Byron of Cincinnati is making the apology to avoid 60 days in jail, but he plans to appeal the domestic relations court ruling. Byron and free speech and media experts say it should concern other users of the social networking site.

My niece called me tonight and she got into her 16 year old son's Facebook account and found college girls sending him naked pictures and pictures of them masturbating. He no longer has a Facebook account and no long has a cell phone. This electronic age is going to be the downfall of our young people. My niece sent a message to the college girls and told them her son was 16 and the pictures better stop right now. One of the students replied they would block him from their Facebook account. She then received a call from a mother of a 14 year old girl that goes to school with her son and needed to see her right then. It seems the 14 year old was texting him naked pictures of herself.

I told my niece ... he is 16 and the hormones are raging at that age. During our youth the only place we could see naked people was in National Geographic and it was just natives with boobs hanging to their belly ... they didn't have naked men. How times have changed.

I don't have Facebook, don't text, Twitter or even own a smartphone I am still in the 20th century with my little laptop and computer tower. So I don't understand how these things work. But I sure hope we are not raising young perverts. Parents better take the time to check out what their teens are doing on Facebook, the internet, texting and smartphones.
