She should be charged with wreckless driving and manslaughter. Doctor suggestions is just that, a suggesion, but to be driving 100mph is wreckless and manslaughter.

If her regular doctor gave her clearance: No

If that turns out to be BS: yes

I also think if the doctor neglected to do the follow up care required to see if one is actually seizure free that doctor should be charged with medical negligence. You have to do a series of tests to be "in the clear". Depending on the cause you may or may not have clearance to drive. Anyone who has seizures is suppose to go in for routine check ups to see if it still is a problem.

There should be a federal law in place that mandates actions for those who have this health issue. Check ups should be covered by the state for the safety of all and should be a regular practice for people who have or had seizures even if deemed seizure free.
Neurologists don't run cheap.

If she actually had a seizure I do believe that immediate EEG readings would show that.
Diabetics reading this: Please be careful. Diabetes can cause seizures. 1 more reason to always check up on that, especially if you are in the high risk category.

If it does turn out her doctor gave her false info that is really sad. She has to live with a doctor's dismissive attitude that killed a whole family. That has to mess with your mind.
