I might not want to put them on the floor if they are wet. I would put them on the dryer if there was room.If Laci was mopping and getting ready for Christmas, you don't think she would have tossed the rags in the washer and started it?
On the mopping front, Scott said that he filled the mop bucket and put it down for Laci before he left because it was too heavy for her to lift. Was the full mop bucket still there when he got home? I've never heard anything about that, but presumably if Laci couldn't move the bucket to where she was mopping, then she wouldn't be able to bend down and pick it up to empty it. Therefore if he filled the bucket for her and she really was mopping, the full bucket should have been sitting there when Scott got home right?
We know the floors were mopped on the 22nd by the house cleaner. She said she put those dirty rags in the bucket. Scott took them out of the bucket and put them on top of the washer, right? He claims he filled the bucket so Laci could mop again which I don't believe. However, he followed through on this story line and said when he returned, he saw the bucket still filled with water and dumped it in the backyard, leaving it with the mop(s) outside the door.
Next comes the washing of one outfit of fishing clothes. Then the vacuuming of the area by the washer/dryer a day later. Did he notice something there on the floor where he undressed to put his clothes in the washer?
He did say that she was probably wearing white tennis shoes, but I have no idea if they were found. The mop and bucket were outside the front door, and police said the house smelled of bleach when they arrived.
The last part was a lie perpetuated by the media, the police officers have never said that.
The media also tried to link Scott Peterson to the Kristen Smart disappearance, they alluded to the police investigating ties between the two, more lies.
I think he should be looked at for Amelia Earhart as well. But the media never spreads fake news, lol. It's how we know he was given a fair trial.

They found slip on white shoes without backs. Not the kid of shoes someone would wear to go on a long walk.
There was no bleach smell in the house. That was a lie.
Yikes, I just found an interview Amber did with Matt Lauer. She said this about their FIRST date Nov 20 more than a month before Laci disappeared.
Frey: "You know, we really didn't talk a whole lot about relationships. I believe I asked if he had ever been married, and he said no."
Scott told her he sold farm fertilizer for a company based in Spain, and traveled all over the world, so much so that he never settled down -- no wife, no girlfriend, not even a dog.
Frey: "He said he lived in Sacramento, that he also had a condo in San Diego, and he had found a couple that wanted to purchase the condo furnished, and with a Land Rover. So, I thought, wow. That's a pretty good deal."
Amber had no way to know it, but almost none of that was true. Scott Peterson wasn't single. He didn't live in Sacramento. He didn't own a condo in San Diego. Only one detail was factual, and it would later seem chilling. The Land Rover he said he wanted to sell did exist. It belonged to his wife, Laci.

the only one that beats him in the pathological liar dept in Casey Anthony. I'm surprised he didn't say he was in the covert military... That's the go to lie for pathological liars.
Did you read that evp website? Spirits said Scott tied her up to a buoy. Thought that was interesting. Maybe that's how he maneuvered her out of the boat. Not sure it's possible though. and other spirits said she was in deep water.
Lilly, I'm thinking of tapes recorded before Scott knew Amber knew about Laci's disappearance.
This was after she went to the cops, but before she went public.
She was describing what she was wearing, trying to light his fire, and he was absolutely bored. I don't think he could have repeated back what she said.
I need to correct myself. I found the tape where this happened and she did prompt him to ask what she was wearing to sing karaoke. It sounded to me like this was a running gag between them. I had a real hard time hearing him on the tape. Maybe he was bored, but he was supposed to still be in Paris during this call so I wonder if he was just trying to sound far away? Amber kept asking him to repeat himself too, so it wasn't just a poor quality wire tap.

PETERSON: Whatever you need to hear that sound good…
FREY: Well, you didn’t even ask what I was wearing tonight?
PETERSON: Oh, I was going to though.
FREY: Were you?
PETERSON: Honestly I was, but then you some very big questions. So actually right after that I had planned to ask what you’re wearing and what you sang. What do you have on?
FREY: Well, first it’s because I haven’t been able to talk to you. I wanted to be able to express all these things before, you know, um…I had some…some beer before so I keep…so excuse me.
PETERSON: (laugh)
FREY: Um…what I’m wearing, I’ll go to that. I’m wearing black pants, which kind of have a texture…well, they’re kind of shiny and they have a leopard print but it’s on black.
PETERSON: Oooh!
FREY: Yeah, they’re pretty sexy. (giggling) And I’m wearing a…it’s kind of
a red but almost a magenta pink, but it looks like foil on a shirt.
PETERSON: Oooh!
FREY: Yes, it’s very sexy too. And I have beads like um…they’re not beads and they’re not rhinestones, but they’re metal things around the sleeves and the neck collar. And it has some very…well, remember when I saw you on Monday. Well, it was the first Monday after you came back from Alaska, do you remember what I was wearing?
PETERSON: Hum, no I’m sorry.
FREY: Well, I was wearing these very tall red boots and a long jean skirt.
PETERSON: Oh, okay.
FREY: Well, I’m wearing those boots, that’s what I was getting at, which you didn’t see them very long because I went in and changed before we went on our hiking trip to Squaw’s Valley or Squaw Valley or no, Squaw’s Valley. Page 33 of 42 010103 ─ 0001 02-142591
PETERSON: Are the pants tucked in your boots?
FREY: Well, it was jeans or it was a jean…a long jean skirt so I didn’t…
PETERSON: Yeah, I know, but you have the boots on now?
FREY: I have the boots on now and…
PETERSON: And these black leopardy pants. Are…are the pants tucked in the boots?
FREY: They’re…no, my pants are over the boots.
PETERSON: Okay.
FREY: That would be very out of style.
PETERSON: So the pants aren’t skin tight?
FREY: Yes, they are.
PETERSON: Oh, they are?
FREY: They’re pretty tight except they’re a boot cut.
PETERSON: Yeah.
FREY: But they are form fitting on the top. They are, but they’re stretchy. It’s just…it’s a different material. They look leather, but they have a leopard-looking print, but it’s all black. Does that make sense?
PETERSON: Got ya, yeah.
FREY: So they’re pretty sexy, the shirt is nice.
PETERSON: I’ll have to check these things out.
FREY: Hum?
PETERSON: I’ll have to check those out.
FREY: Yeah, maybe uh…maybe for my birthday or something.
Oh, I know now what she was doing with describing what she was wearing. It was to bring up the previous time she had worn the boots, to get Scott to admit on tape that he had been seeing her back that far, and to get his lie about being in Alaska and their trip together to Squaw Valley on tape too.
She was working for the detectives, and they asked to her get him to verify certain things that they thought would be needed for trial.
From what I understand, the first time they showed him a photo of him and Amber together at a party, he claimed he didn't know her and that it was photo shopped. It probably made the det jobs easier to have him on tape admitting to the stuff Amber was able to get out of him.

Hmmm, so the buoy would keep the part in the water from dragging the side of the boat down until he got the bottom half out. Then he'd cut the buoy off to sink her. That might work.

He not only predicted that would be his first Christmas without his wife, he predicted the sale of her Land Rover, which happened, and the sale of his home, furnished, which he tried to make happen.
Many have speculated selling Laci's Land Rover and trying to sell his house, furnished, was not planned but necessary to deal with legal fees when he was under police and public scrutiny.
