The Jerry Sandusky case closing arguments are tomorrow. The jury will probably get the case either in the afternoon, or Friday morning. How many days do you think it'll take for the jury to convict him (assuming the jury meets only Monday thru Friday)?
I hear the detectives messed up the case .Also , many of the accusers seemed untrustworthy . The man is a creep but once again the government put our tax dollars in jeopardy of failure.
Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes with 4 minutes going towards roll call of the jury members.
I was on jury once, took 10 minutes. First thing we did was take a poll of how everyone felt, it was unanimous. I would imagine every jury in this country does the same thing. We discussed it a little bit just to make sure everyone was comfortable and didn't have any unanswered questions.
The testimony of the alleged victims was compelling, and, if reports from inside the courtroom are accurate, jurors were visibly moved while listening to them. The prosecution seems to have countered the argument that Sandusky suffers from whatever that particular disorder is they tried to assert. And the best defense would have been Sandusky taking the stand and saying the allegations aren't true, that he didn't do those things. On each of the alleged abuse incidents there were two people in the room, participating (willing or not), and only one chose to take an oath to tell the truth about what happened. There are 50/51 counts and the jury is required to vote on each one. It could go quickly, but I think, as I originally said at the top of the discussion, that the jury's decision will be announced the second day of deliberations. Knowing only what I've learned from listening to reports of courtroom observers and legal analysts .. I don't see how he will be acquitted. It'll be confinement to prison for the remainder of his life. That's my thought.
Jerry suffers from a disease..................... he suffers with the "dirty old pervert disease"
