Wells Fargo Fires Iowa Worker for Minor 1963 Crime



Him being fired may be crazy, but he did do the crime ! ! !


DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Wells Fargo Home Mortgage (WFC) has fired a Des Moines worker over a 1963 incident at a Laundromat involving a fake dime in the wake of new employment guidelines.

Richard Eggers, 68, was fired in July from his job as a customer service representative for putting

I saw this, and as usual, I believe it is a way to get rid of people you don't want. It would be one thing, if system wide, all people were discharged for a crime. But, they usually give enough wriggle room, to allow any type of penalty, from being fired, to getting a note put in your file.
