This man and his nuclear family have done nothing but harm those around them and Judge Cadish just granted him an extension, so he won't stand trial until next year.
Note that "according to Nye County court records, in March 1993, Greg Wallen, then 20, agreed to plead guilty to reduced charges related to the rape of the 4-year-old daughter of a family friend."
But before he could be sentenced Wallen absconded to Las Vegas, moving his family downstairs from the apartment where Diana Hernandez (the murdered girl) lived. Court records show that Nye County authorities caught up with Wallen in 1995. The judge sent him to the Lovelock Correctional Center, where he served less than two years of a three-year sentence.
This past summer, Heather Wallen pleaded guilty to burglary and grand larceny. She got four to 10 years in prison."
So, a three year sentence for rape of a 4-year-old and four to ten years for drug and theft charges. !
Not to mention Greg Wallen's family paid off a fine for "parental negligence" with homeowner's insurance ?
And his daughter became addicted to methamphetamines at age 13 by doing the drug with her parents?
Good research and a well written article. It goes along with my theory about criminals. The reason they are in jail....is probably just one thing they were finally caught on...in a string of many others, "unsolved".
I agree, Jasper. They get away with something small and decide to go one more step, and some guys, like this one, are just bold as anything.
