REDDICK – Sheriff’s detectives hope the public can help them find approximately 300-square-feet of brick pavers stolen from a driveway Tuesday.
The victim told Deputy Michelle Wright that she left her home in the 4500 block of Northwest 120th Street around 7:30 a.m. When she arrived home at 6 p.m. and drove onto the driveway, she felt a large “bump.” She said she got out of her vehicle and noticed that the concrete pavers used to make the driveway were missing.
Very bizarre theft. The driveway? I was going to say thieves will steal anything not nailed to the floor, But in this case-They basically stole the floor itself! Yikes!
I wonder what the thieves are using the bricks for. I doubt the bricks can be sold, like copper wire.
Maybe they are building a fort to defend against the zombies that are going to rise on the morning of Dec 21st in a few days.
Better strategy would be to get lots of raw meat, And create a trail leading to the house of someone you don't like. I have a guy in mind personally. He does not know me.
People WILL steal anything. I was at a nursery one time where they had bags of manure in front and a kid was hired to watch them. I asked him if people really do steal manure and he said that it had, in fact happened more than once. *shakes head*
