There are reports on the police scanner talking about the police chasing and catching at least one suspect. There is one eyewitness who speaks to the news at the scene and actually points to the police car where the "man in cuffs dressed in camo pants and a black shirt who was escorted by police out of the woods" was sitting at that moment. The news reported that law enforcement had a second suspect in custody. Then, it was completely dropped from the media. No follow up whatsoever. That goes beyond flawed witness testimony.

There are many other odd inconsistencies such as the news initially reporting that Nancy Lanza was a Kindergarten teacher at Sandy Hook Elementary. The school nurse, Sally Cox, was interviewed by the media and she spoke of what a wonderful and caring Kindergarten teacher Nancy Lanza was. Then we find out that Nancy Lanza had zero connection to the school.

The media initially reported that only handguns were used in the shooting and that the assault rifle was in the car. They maintained this story for two days before changing the narrative to everyone being killed by an assault rifle.

The media reported that the Sandy Hook Principal reported hearing "hundreds of rounds being fired". Then we hear that the Principal was the first person killed in the shooting making it impossible for her to be giving interviews after the shooting.

There is the story from the neighbor who said that he found 6 students on his lawn being spoken to harshly by an older man. They told him that they witnessed their teacher "Victoria Soto" being killed. The next interview he gives does not mention the man but instead a female bus driver. The media has reported that 6 kids escaped from Victoria Soto's classroom. Other media reports that these 6 children were killed. What really happened to these 6 children remains unclear in the media today and the reports remain inconsistent.

Also, the initial reports that Ryan Lanza was the shooter and that his brother, Adam was the second suspect pulled from the woods and how his mother and father were dead, his girlfriend and friend were missing.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Either the media is 100% incompetent or something is amiss. I don't claim to know the answer to that question but the quantity of inconsistencies is enough to make a person go,

You're correct, there most certainly was aerial footage taken by a WABC helicopter of supsect being chased in the woods, and you are again correct that in fact the school nurse said that Nancy Lanza was a beloved teacher when in fact she had no connection with the school.

The neighbor Gene Rosen changed his story several times, first it was man at the end of his driveway than a female bus driver with those 6 kids.

He said the female bus driver said there was an "incident" at the school and took off. A bus driver wouldn't leave children with a strange man. She would have gotten those kids as far away from that school as possible.

He also said in one interview a mother appeared looking for her son and he sent her to the firehouse. In another interview he said that he and the mother walked together to the firehouse.....WELL WHICH IS IT?????

He also manages to cry to but there are no tears.

A lot of things don't add up with this story.

Maybe not 100%, but about 90% incompetent. There are so many innacuracies in these reports, particularly when they first come out, which of course are released in the "fog of war" type environment. But to make matters worse the media never corrects them. And of course social media repeats these innacuracies in internet forums.
How many people beleive the Colorodo shooter still wore a bullet proof vest? That item of misinformation is still being repeated today.
And of course the tendency of the media to classify any semi-automatic weapon as an "assualt rifle" (incorrect by definition). Which may be more to sensationalize the news for other purposes.

He is the most dramatic man I have ever witnessed speak and one of the most inconsistent with his stories.

I find it odd that while I've seen a lot of smiles from the victims families, I have yet to see a single actual tear shed. Not one tear. I find it hard to believe. Has anyone ever known someone who has lost a child in real life? I have and the mothers of those children could barely walk without help. Witnessing their grief was overwhelmingly sad. I understand that some people smile when nervous but what I've seen in the media over and over again strikes me as very strange. Some people look like they are crying but no tears. None.

The thing that gets me though is the level of commitment that would be required by a conspiracy of that level. The entire town, all of the responders, and all of the media would need to be involved. And yet...with the amount of power, dedication, and planning that would take...they leave obvious holes that 'expose' the truth? It is easier to believe the media is completely inept than that. It reminds of a comedian I saw explaining the conspiracy to 'frame OJ' that had the call to frame OJ going out overseas.

I'm guessing because it is evidence and they don't want it tossed out because it "tainted the jury pool".

"But to make matters worse the media never corrects them." YES, because it is no longer the tragedy of the day... they don't want to waste precious news time on it. Esp. with these mass shootings - the right/left agendas pushed by this country's media, you really do not know WHAT is true and what is spin.
The only way we ever find out about what is going on is through later investigations often most effectively through real crime books/authors.

What jury pool? If the "lone shooter" is dead then there will not be a trial.

First Bold: I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic in saying this. I hope so. Whenever I watch the news I cannot believe how much time is wasted reporting the most ridiculously unimportant stuff.

Second bold: I agree

It would take a lot of people. Not the whole town, not the whole school, not all of the first responders and not all of the media but definitely some from each of these groups.

Are you suggesting a Reichstag fire type of staged incidents to justify imposition of gun controls? Fast and Furious clearly had that intent.
