I am. I like lifetime movies and I'm curious about how it's will be treated. I watched "Small Sacrifices" in the hey day of True Crime Mini Series - late 80-90s. I enjoy them and I miss them.

True Crime in an interest of mine. Not watching it is not going to convict Casey Anthony nor will it bring Caylee back.

I'm curious. So sue me.

I might, I might not.
I would absolutely watch anything that shows how miserable Casey Anthony is right now. how much she hates being one of the most hated people alive; how deluded she was about how she would be perceived and treated.
That, I would not miss.

If I didn't think Casey was getting paid, I'd probably watch it too. She was aquitted, so don't they have to pay her to use her name and information?

That is my point. Like it or not, YOU and people like you, have perverted our criminal justice system into something it is not. Our criminal justice system was made to stop such things. To COMBAT YOU and your feelings, thoughts. Hundreds of years ago, men and women were thrown into jail, because someone felt they were a "witch." Based upon faulty evidence, thoughts, innuendo, et al.

Our constitution, our entire way of life was changed. Now, you have to have PROOF of how someone was killed. Not your thoughts, not anyone thoughts. BUT PROOF. Like it or not, in this case, there is NO PROOF, how her child died. NONE. ZERO. ZIP. ZILCH. Therefore, you CANNOT prove murder.

Going on emotions and how one "feels" about a crime, is the reason, today, people are being released by the dozens and getting large multi-million dollar settlements. Remember, all these men being set free for murder, rapes, etc. The jury KNEW they were guilty too. You and everyone else who know Casey Anthony are guilty, are no better then the juries who put innocent people on death row, etc. You are REFUSING to accept the facts and the evidence and using your own personal thoughts/opinions to convict her.

And, by the way, this is coming from a man who is pro death penalty and, morever, has put TWO persons on death row in California. You have no clue the amount of soul searching, time, effort, etc I have invested into the death penalty cases I've been a part of. I'm the man who says certain people shouldn't be breathing oxygen, yet in this case, the evidence and facts are just not there; only emotions. Which does NOTHING but cause problems.
I completely understand your view point as law enforcement.

Watching the movie isn't going to bring us any closer to the truth. The jury made a decision we all have to live with like or not and none of our personal opinions matter. That's the bottom line from my perspective.

At this point my only question, Why did Caylee's Fund dissolve and how was the money donated to the fund used?

I watched the OJ trial and followed the Casey trial and was appalled by the ineptitude of the State prosecutors in both cases. In these capital case, their guilt was not proven.

The criminal justice system is an old decrepit collection of rules going back to olden times. Don't you think we have the medical technology today to find out what someone really did? There should be some point, where society can't afford to turn a killer loose without knowing the truth.

I really have no interest since I watched the real trial. I wonder if the jury members are going to watch and how they'll feel because knowing Lifetime they are going to show Casey dancing and hanging out in the clubs days, weeks after Caylee was kidnapped/drowned/buried in the backyard.

Both prosecutors fell into the same legal trap. There was so much physical evidence in both cases that they came to believe the mass of the evidence would convict, but overlooked the fact that most of the evidence didn't do anything in directly connecting the accused with the crime charged.

Technology often can't settle murders that are done by family members. In the OJ case, the prosecution made the terminal mistake of asking OJ to put on that glove, the only piece of evidence that was a direct connection. Anyone who's ever worn leather gloves knows they can shrink after they are soaked.

I'm not going to watch it. The point was made earlier that Casey will profit from the movie. That's true, as she was found not guilty. Only the proven guilty are prohibited from making a profit on their crimes.

Do I believe she did it? Yes. But our legal system is what it is, and my opinion does not count. I respect a jury's findings even if I don't agree with them.

If Casey is getting paid - I am out. I will not do anything in any way that could be of any benefit to her. On that, I am steadfast. Absolutely not.
I only wish I had that type of commitment to healthy eating and exercise.

From what I've read the movie is based on Jeff Ashtons book 'Imperfect Justice'. It also says there's no profit for Anthony...who knows for sure.
