I'm wondering what the real chance is of her getting the death note. I think it's another case of the projected "nice girl at heart in a blouse with glasses" syndrome. That she will get life or off.

[quote=CarolinaWoman;29221903]I feel bad for Travis Alexander's family ... reliving his murder over and over again. In addition to all the trash about Travis.

Travis's family has no one but themselves, and Juan's ego, to blame for this trialed being hashed out over and over again, and having Travis's name and nude pictures splashed all over the media over and over again.
The sisters wanted blood, demanding nothing short of the death penalty and therefor, agreed to have Travis dragged thru the mud for 5 months. They were absolutely told this is what would happen if the state didn't take Jodi's guilty plea for 2nd.

Juan wanted another death penalty notch on his belt, and didn't compromise. He get's paid hourly anyway.

The sister's and brother have had multiple trips to Mexico drinking Margarita's in the 5 years since Travis's death. They have had plenty time to decide a strategy to spare the families privacy. They also are being supported financially thru out this trial. If Travis's family was so upset about Travis's perfect saintly image being stomped on, they should of ended this thing in January, and the sexual details would have be not splashed all over the media.

Instead, they're crying and upset because now they are living the consequences of their demand for Jodi's death, which, by the way, won't happen.

This trial started on January 2, 2013. None of the jurors has called in, yet Stabby has gotten 3 migraines thus stopping court mid-day or having it cancelled all together and ALV also said she was sick and court was canceled for the rest of the day.

I've been interested in true crime and have followed trials dating back to CourtTv's inception and Betty Brodrick and the Menendez brothers. Jodi Stabby Arias is the worse kind of sociopath. What a waste of space. The 1.4 million or whatever amount is ridiculous as well. The State should have pulled the Death Penalty off and this case would have taken a month, she would have been found Guilty of Murder In the First and been thrown into a tiny, cold, smelly hole in the wall never to be seen or heard from again.

By the time the trial ends, the price tag will be around 1.7 million dollars. Complete misappropriation of Arizona Taxpayer Money!!!!

Juan's EGO and Travis's family VENDETTA is an outrage.

I'm surprised Arizona Taxpayer's aren't outraged. They should demand reimbursement from HLN and Oprah Productions and whoever else is profiting off this circus funded by Arizona Taxpayers.

Jodi looks like she is bored with her own trial. She appears to be coloring in a coloring book or such.

Where do you get this stuff? Do you honestly believe the Alexanders have just been living it up for the past 5 years and should have never taken a vacation because they knew they would be sitting through a 5 month trial eventually that would cause them to miss work and spend money to drive to and from California? Do you know all of these people personally and know what motivates them? Didn't think so.

No way was Jodi going to get a plea for 2nd, regardless of the prosecutor. It has nothing to do with Juan's ego. The crime couldn't have been more premeditated or sadistic. I don't think most people would be willing to accept a plea like that if their loved one was stalked and butchered to death. What a tremendous slap in the face that would be for the victim and his family, not to mention that Jodi is a remorseless sociopath and highly dangerous. What kind of precedent would have been set if the court let her cop a plea? Mimi Hall would probably have been killed next if she hadn't been arrested when she was.

I live in Arizona and while it is an expensive and lengthy trial, taxing on the family and the jurors, the court is trying to get it right the first time and avoid the chance of future appeals or another Casey Anthony situation. There is no easy way around it.

You are angry at the victims. Justice isn't about giving in to the manipulations of the defendant!

Don't fall for that. Part of her tactic is trying to look like she's a regressed nut case, to avoid the death penalty. I hope the jury is not so gullible as to fall for her "nice girl" look and simplistic acts to appear as if she's not all there.
