I have vacuuming planned for tomorrow ... if a verdict comes in I don't like I might need your counseling help! My hippocampus is going to just shut down. But I don't want to take the MMPI 1 OR 2 test OK! (I love that word hippocampus.)

When I was in the accident and received the head injury I was sent to a shrink by my neurologist to test long-term short-term memory. First part was verbal questions ... Who is current President of the US, simple math calculations one can do in their head and then my favorite question "Who was President during the Civil War." I said Jefferson Davis. He asked me to explain that, I said, well I was born and raised right here in Carolina and Jefferson Davis was President of the Confederacy, our President during the Civil War. So sort of snotty he asked "Who was President of the Union?"

Nope ... no more for me ... I am swearing off these emotionally addictive trials. I'm not going to be there for the Zimmerman trial ... you know HNL will beat Arias trial to death until June 10 when jury selection begins for the Zimmerman trial.

The longer the jury is out usually they're arguing either 1st degree or 2nd degree murder. If it gets to be over a week then it may come down to a hung jury.
If it's a hung jury then we have 5-6 more months of sordid replay when it's re-scheduled. Won't Nancy Grace and HLN have a ball then, right up their field of nauseating comments.

I wish they would have just let her talk without interrupting too. I wanted to hear the rest of that crazy story! (Travis asked Deanna to go to the house and check on Napoleon once when the roommates were out...she walked in the house to find Jodi baking cookies and using Travis's laptop...she offered Deanna cookies like a Stepford wife)

Did Deanna accept a cookie? I would have been afraid they were poison if Deanna already knew about the tire slashings. I would have liked to have heard more about that visit. What are you doing here Deanna? Are you looking for Travis?? Deanna was probably shocked to find Arias in the house.

I felt so bad for Deanna when she was on the stand ... but she handled herself so good and I am glad she has Napoleon.

I have a great company I work for thank goodness they understand! As of now My dr does give me good meds but I hate that I have to depend on that to feel "normal".

Anyways I am praying for a verdict tomorrow. I am so nervous I think I could pass out when they announce the verdict!... can you imagine how the family feels??
Yes, L4 & L5 are lower lumbar and supposedly L5 is the bottom ... L6 is sort of an extra vertebra not everybody has an L6. If you do that is the very last vertebra at the bottom and if there is a problem it can cause bad lower back pain. That is probably the reason he wants to put a rod in, I don't know about the cage.

I have been reading about Laser Surgery Spinal Clinics ... of course we don't have any around here I went under the knife but it was worth it ... also I waited as you are doing until I couldn't walk the pain was so bad. I was out of work six months.

It's almost 3:00 AM on the east coast ... I have to get in bed and get ready for the FIRST DEGREE VERDICT tomorrow. Yesss it's gonna be tomorrow. I recall the OJ Simpson verdict was delivered at 2:00 AM eastern time (10:00 PM Pacific.) But the Arizona jury and judge just sort of work when they please. I would keep that jury in there day and night ... what is some overtime for the security guards anyway.

The nurse to be Jennifer Ford was interviewed on TV and that's it. The rest are in hiding.

An old article:

Casey Anthony 'Seems Like a Horrible Person,' Says Juror - Crime & Courts, Casey Anthony : People.com

I don't know why he is making the media rounds. He is the Chief Judge of Florida's Ninth Judicial Circuit ... the head honcho of the circuit. Maybe he is looking for his own TV show when his term is up.
Well, maybe in the proposed Safe House Scenario I proposed with Anthony, Simpson and ARIAS, maybe the judge could preside over the arguments those 3 would have. This is disgusting, I'm outlining a clinical observation setting and sadly it could be a reality show.

I think they may have to prohibit knives and not listening to music by Slash.

This trial has taken its toil on all of us. I hope there are people who may have been planning crimes against others can't get the pictures of Travis prior to his murder, while he was being slaughtered and the pictures of how ARIAS left him.

I don't plan to follow the Zimmerman trial closely at all. It will be a huge mess about racism. In one way, I already see everyone as losing from a long trial of accusations and not necessarily proof.

I hope the verdict comes in soon to relieve all of those who are suffering. Even if they decided in 45 min what to do, this jury is setting an example about the seriousness of jury duty. Verdicts that come back in 1 hr. scare me as I don't know how a jury Foreman ( Or Foreperson) could even be elected in an hour.

Hopefully, this jury is trying to correct some of the public views dating back to Simpson. Unfortunately, thanks to HLN and other outside fources, this trial has become like a reality show. Transparency is one thing; drama kings and queens (witnesses, lawyers, judges - can we recall Lance Ito who probably set the worst example possible for any other judges to presid over a high profile, widely televised case. Then there is the defendant who sings and dances as well as draws pictures in court those days she forgets to bend her "injured" finger. Maybe her inconsistent finger injury is due to her fog.....

Simpson had been in films previously so there is very fertile ground from all the BS the drama Kings/Queens leave behind to grow court into a reality show. The "actors" also can give their best performance possible to audition for other HollyWEIRD roles. The writers in HollyWEIRD are probably jealous or at least annoyed that such great speeches (like Squirmy's hours of talking in "Adult, porn film terminology," ) and his one line Zinger about liking ARIAS only 10% of the time were his own work.

Let's hope the jury delivers the message that court isn't a reality show and the people who promise to follow state and Federal laws have a very serious job with tremendous responsibilities when reviewing ARIAS' own admission she killed TA and trying to know what the appropriate decision is. I am praying for their physical and emotions strength as they consider all the options.

You're so funny CW about Jefferson Davis and tests you wouldn't want to take. I am do thrilled you regained your abilities after your horrible accident. Humor is a wonderful coping mechanism.

As for humor, does anyone think Squirmy or Willmott will be asked to appear as a analyst on the Zimmerman trial? That thought gives me the heebie-greenies

Hang in there!

I thought Deanna was one of the most credible witnesses to take the stand, and I have a lot of respect for her for going through with what must have been a very embarrassing, uncomfortable situation just to be there for Travis and to try to correct some wrongs. Some of the questions the DT threw at her were simply wrong to ask.

What speaks volumes to me about Travis is the caliber of women friends he had who thought the world of him (with one notable exception ). Skye, Deanna, and the others were intelligent, classy, confident women who would have known if Travis were the pervert/abuser that Jodi attempted to portray him as. You women have a 6th sense about reading people and with all of those women saying loving things about him it is obvious he was a gentleman and respected women, and men as well. No man in that entire group ever said he was afraid to let Travis be around his wife.

All of on here seem to have seen through Jodi's BS. She threw in every hot button topic she could to try to make him look like scum. She called him not only an abuser, but a pedophile and sexual deviant as well. Pretty smart of her if you think about it, but I only hope that jury is smart enough to see through it as well.

I am also like some of you, and this trial has burned me out on TV court drama for a while. Even Judge Judy and The Peoples Court doesn't hold the same fascination as they once did for me. I am going to probably not watch much of the George Zimmerman trial, even though it is right here in Florida. It has all the earmarks of becoming even a bigger circus than the Arias trial.

But it certainly has been a pleasure to participate in this forum and meet so many intelligent, nice folks as we have on here.

To memthensound bites sounded like two people who both interacted willingly but Jodi sounded more like the professional.

Taking everything in account to me it is very clear that this was all a set up by Jodi to have something on tape to use against Travis.

The poor victim was manipulated and fell for her and couldn't get away from her web of deceive, lies and stalking...and finally her killing him.

Snowchaser2002,

Talk to your DR and others you trust about your fears/ concerns. There must be a reason your Dr. Is recommending surgery now.

Like Carolina Woman, I truly empathize with you. I've been in the same situation with my spine. Unlike what both you and CW report having Lumbar level problems, mineF was much higher in my spine. Think about where your lungs are and you have an idea of where my spinal problems were. Mine very honestly is too rare, per the neurosurgical literature to try to compare to yours in anyway---most neurosurgeons at busy, Trauma I hospitals only see 1-2 patients during their entire practice like me.

I would encourage you to ask your doctor how many surgeries like what is proposed for you are done annually in the hospital you would be at, how many does your surgeon do each year etc. so you get a better feel for how frequently Ortho and/ or Neurosurgeons treat patients like you with surgery. Ask if you can talk to 1-2 patients who have had the procedure done. Try to identify what is creating fear for you. Fears can be addressed once we know how come they exist.

Good luck getting your back to relax as you wait for this verdict . How about some relaxing music OR reading a book instead of tv that increases the hype and tension on purpose. Your back may not be able to tolerate it--- the hype and HLN DRAMA.

I hope you feel better soon.
