I guess the jury did not want the responsibility of making that decision so they will make someone do it.

No, the jury is hung because there were some jurors that wanted to put her to death and were not willing to compromise. We don't know how many holdouts there were. It only takes one.

I agree. It is not a victory. My heart goes out to the families. To think it was so close to being over, and now having to start this phase over again must be torture.

Default Jodi Arias: Hung jury, judge declares mistrial

Jodi Arias: Hung jury, judge declares mistrial

Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Sherry Stephens declared a mistrial today after jurors told her they could not decide between death and life for Jodi Arias, the woman they had convicted of murdering her former lover, 30-year-old Travis Alexander.

The judge set a retrial date for July 18. The state has not said whether it intends to seek a retrial and bring in a new jury, or whether it will simply allow the judge to sentence Arias to life in prison.

Yeah, Jodi may "live" but what a life she will have. Can you imagine being 32 years old and knowing the next maybe 50 years you will be confined to a 6 x 10 cell, let out 6 times a week for only one hour each, fed prison food, and never, ever having the prospect of doing what other normal people will be experiencing.

No wedding, no children, no Christmas' with family, no partying, no vacations, no ANYTHING. In a way it makes me happier to see that she might get life in prison because she is a rat and all rats should be put in a box where they can't get near the rest of us. A friend of our family just did 3 years for a DUI traffic accident, and he says it was worse than anyone can imagine. He had his life threatened many times and thought he was going to die in there. Jodi will be in with some "Sisters" who are not going to want to have a book club or do recycling. Up until now she has been in jail and jail is TOTALLY different from prison. She is about to leave the country club and go into the belly of hell.

Nope, if that is a "victory", then it is a victory for those of us who are haters.

Hope you rot in there, Jodi !!!!!!!!!!!!

Don

They don't know that she threatened to drag Travis, his family and friends, and the Mormon Church through the mud if the court did not allow her to plea for second degree murder.

These are just a couple items that illustrate what an extreme manipulator this person is. Not to mention all the self-serving interviews she has done lately. There's much more that didn't make it into evidence on the grounds of being "prejudicial"...whether all of that would have made a difference in the end or not, who knows.
lol. You do realize those are.......BLOGS........
