^^^ Snipped

What new attorney? Arias attempted to get Kirk Nurmi removed/fired but Judge Stephens denied the request. Jennifer Willmott is still there too. We all suffered through Nurmi and Arias' performance day after day when she was on the stand.

Sounds like our prosecutor here in Florida. Some of these prosecutors have huge egos and want to add high profile cases to their resume.

Does it really make a difference to society if Jodi is jailed for life or executed?

Alll that money could have been used for better causes. Arizona is a very poor state.

Do people really think she drove to Utah without any footwear? (Just because she said she did doesn't make it so.) And the fact that someone phoned in a tip to a detective, and killed herself two years later, means nothing. Do you realize how many unbalanced people come out of the woodwork in high profile murder investigations? The vast majority of their "tips" are, of course, completely unfounded. (Think about John Mark Carr "confessing" to the JonBenet murder...)

I don't believe for a moment that there was any other person involved in this murder. Jodi wouldn't hesitate to blame another person if she could.
Thompson timeline: Ashley left Dustin 5/2008
Travis Murdered 6/2008
Anonymous Call by Ashley 6/11/2008
Divorce proceedings 9-12/2008
Protective Order granted 10/2009
Ashley found dead 3/3/2010
By the way: someone had a "Jodi did it" blog created from Ashley's computer. A few months
after Ashley's death, the blog was taken down by the author.
This blog gave detailed information as to how exactly Jodi would've gone about covering her tracks.
In other words, Dustin wrote the blog all the while keeping up on the investigation.

I have spent countless hours watching the court room trial footage. I have been searching for a motive. Jodi Arias may be a thrill killer who simply wanted to experience murdering another human. A lot of women have what I call the crazy eyes. Some women are set off by the specific words or tone of the man's voice. She is an unusual female killer to say the least.

I've watched and followed the entire trial too, as have countless others. There's certainly a percentage of the 'followers' that simply wish for Jodi to fade away into oblivion.

I, however, am quite the opposite. The psychological aspects of this entire case are fascinating! The litigation process itself complete with Trial by Media, is unprecedented. A autobiography from Jodi would be well anticipated by psychology buffs..

Furthermore, any writer willing to dig into the details of the Arizona Justice System viewpoint, would most likely be well received as well by legal and financial buffs.

Perhaps someone would take the risk and dulve intom the mysteries of the Mormon aspect to this story and the sorted deaths and footprints surrounding this trial but never brought to light.......

Never ending case!!

Kirk Nurmi filed two motions in Maricopa County Superior Court Thursday (2/13.) The first of the two fresh motions by Arias' defense team ask the judge to withhold from the jury any information about the 15-page handwritten letter, in which she told the judge she doesn't trust defense lawyer Kirk Nurmi, he doesn't like her, and that he has an "utter poverty of people skills." Letting jury members hear testimony about Arias' motion would unfairly prejudice them. (A copy of the 15 page letter is in this post somewhere.)

The second motion filed by Nurmi on behalf of Arias seeks to prevent any news of Arias' talkative ex-cellmate Cassandra Thea Collins from reaching the jury's ears.

It seems the defense team is just going to throw motions at the court and continue to delay the second trial.

There really is no mystery to what happened here. A very unstable, self centered young lady felt she was used by a guy she cared very much about and it made her so angry she killed him. Happens all the time where a girl kills the guy or he kills her. What made this one watchable and unique was Jodi's strange behavior and how locked on she was to each of the 3 stories she fabricated to cover herself.

Throw in a little sex for good measure and it made for good TV. But her 15 minutes are over now and it must be driving her nuts not to be in the spotlight any more.

And with that I believe we can close the chapter on this case. If there are any new happenings in this matter a new thread can be started.
