Judge Pickles reads the questions like a 3rd grade teacher reading a picture book to the class.

I'd never know that states did that. Indeed a brilliant idea especially in cases of this gravity.

Checked here on a whim since every night is Jodi Arias night with Nancy Grace, Jane Velez Mitchell, Dr Drew, and now Showbiz tonight. I never thought anyone would care but I see they do. Why? Does the media coverage MAKE people interested? What is the draw? The same heinous crimes happen all the time in every state. Is it because the jury gets to ask questions, which is out of the norm?

It's because it's salacious. Lots of sex, brutal murder, cover-up, wild claims by the accused etc etc etc.

If this were some gang member that shot a guy in the chest over a drug debt and was caught fleeing the scene then it's pretty ho-hum.

This case is salacious for the media for a number of reasons: It has sex, lies, photos, Vegas, tossed salads and cream pies, all in the setting of a younger set Mormon community, which requires chastity before marriage.

In addition anyone who was educated in criminal psychology or judicial procedure find this trial an interesting case study.

Kirk Nurmi is droning on and on and on .... since they have not held court on Friday it appears he is going to drag this out until the end of the day.

I assume Juan will have a chance to cross exam the jurors questions ... but I wonder if this will bring about more questions from the jury ... or if that is allowed. I like the jurors questions best.

Due to the “personal commitments” of a few jurors, there will be no trial next Monday or Tuesday… the trial will therefore resume again next Wednesday – March 13th… in effect making it a 2-day week.

Jodi's attitude and arogance is to so over the top that a juror will get sick of listening much longer to her lies and deception.JMO

That cold sore on Arias's lower lip seems to be growing with every lie she tells, just like Pinocchio's nose.

Yep...and religious hypocrisy, sociopathy, stalking, an attractive young couple (granted, Jodi's not looking so hot any more), her love of photography that ultimately did her in. It's a fascinating case, though much of the trial is tedious.

So who do you all think will play Jodi & Travis in the inevitable Lifetime movie?
