As a point of reference, the OJ trial lasted around 10 months. Scott Peterson's trial was approximately 6 months. Wendi Andriano's trial was about 4 months long - she's the last woman who was sentenced to death here in Arizona (prosecuted by Mr. Martinez as well). So while I'm sure it's not pleasant for the jury, it's not unheard of for a murder trial to seemingly drag on in this way. The court wants to minimize the chance of future appeals.

Do you think they are discussing a plea deal?
Interesting.

I wonder why Travis' sisters (if that's who they are) are close to crying? Something must have happened in chambers...?

BTW, anyone else notice that Jodi's mother and aunt never have any expressions on their faces?
It's almost eerie.

What's going on? I leave and end up in an area that doesn't have Wi-Fi. Have to hunt one down and don't have time to review all the posts. Sounds like things have finally move FORWARD for once, and I've seen zero of it.

I didn't really miss it as I know the greater posters here would update me. :

Thanks!

Has anyone ever testified before? I'm wondering if the person on the stand can hear the sidebar?

If Travis's house was at risk of foreclosing, and he was "..........fighting to save my house.........." (as per Travis's text message to Jodi, entered in trial as evidence), why would he purchase a $1500.00 camera?
Za,c the roomate, told the detective that Travis asked him what camera to but and that model is the exact one Zac recommended to Travis.
So many of the details of this scenario don't add up.
