LOL! I could understand dozing off when Nurmi is up there, but never with JM!

ALV is toast...she's more evasive than Jodi was on the stand and sounds more like a fool the more she speaks. I doubt her credibility will ever recover, but you can bet she will go around after this trial trying to use JM as an example of a typically abusive man.

This lends itself to looking more and more like Arias was on some sort of bi polar hypomania rush, completely crazy. No doubt in a jealous rage over Travis planning to go to Mexico without her. Looks more and more like hell has no fury like a woman scorned.

I still don't see a death penalty in this case. Jealousy, hate, escalating addiction.... But I believe the death penalty should be reserved for the truly repugnant in our society. This case, while violent, and definitely Arias should get life in prison, does not seem as heinous to me as the Connecticut killers, who tortured, raped, and killed a family. Complete strangers. Those guys deserve death.
I agree with you!

I really believe Nurmi doesn't want to even be in that courtroom. LOL Perhaps he has the ability to sleep with his eyes open. You are probably right ALV will probably use JM in her next book.

OM goodness, CW. I'm at a MD's appt. and burst out laughing out loud when I read what you wrote about Nurmi sleeping with his eyes open. I thought the same thing this morning and turned it off. He was bugging me! I can take JM, I can even take HEARING the objections of the "lookalike" JW, but Nurmi might want to see if he could sell tapes of himself in court for insomnia.

I absolutely 100% believe Nurmi doesn't want to be there and I don't blame him, although he should be set for life to get all the sex offenders he wants to defend, given his "impressive" performance here.

I believe if ARIAS were paying for this, the trial would have been over in 1-2 weeks. No weeks on end of psychobabble from the "experts" about whether she implied she lied or where a test is etc.

You are too funny, fruitlassie.

Not only will she blame JM, if this trial continues a few more weeks, I wonder if there is any legal situation that her co--written book couldn't be released on time? If anyone knows, please enlighten us.

Personally, I wasn't saving spare change from the parking lot for it, but some may have pre-ordered it. So if her book is released on time could that be PREJUDICIAL? And if it's delayed by the trial, will she sue JM and Maricopa County for lost income?

This trial is turning into a 5 ring circus.

Maybe it depends on who is paying for it.

For those in AZ or observers of high profile cases, what is different about ARIAS than other high profile trials JM has prosecuted?

Wow, ALV is too much!

First of all, nothing Martinez brings up is 'important', regarding what she took into account in her analysis of Jodi.

Then she tells him he needs a 'time out'?!?!?

Does she not realize she's not in one of her counseling sessions, but in a court of law, being cross examined by a prosecutor?

She's killing whatever reputation she had previous to this trial.

I don't think the jury took that statement very well, either.
