Interesting missing child case recently on Dr Phil and from Durango Colorado, about two hours from me. Kids dad refused a polygraph which I find very strange.

I saw both parts of the Dr. Phil special on them, and I too am very concerned about the fact that the dad won't take a polygraph test. He probably knew he would fail that one like he did the first one. After his game playing I started to agree that he knew much more than what he was saying, what though I don't know. At first I was a little sympathetic to the dad because it seemed like the mom was eager to blame the dad and turn people against him, but she probably does have her reasons beyond the bad marriage. I believe the kid is dead already, sadly. Also sad is that the parents are not united to figure out what happened to their son, that is if dad doesn't already know. I hope that another father hasn't killed his own son but there are so many psychos out there.

Mark Redwine, Dylan's father, was finally arrested. He was charged with second degree murder and child abuse knowingly or recklessly resulting in death. More details regarding the evidence here:

Thanks for the update MissTerri.

Took 'em long enough! Colorado has a mandatory sentence for 2nd degree of 16–48 years (Followed by 5 Years Mandatory Parole). Not long enough for a scumbag who kills his own kid.

Before Dylan Redwine went missing in 2012, prosecutors say the 13-year-old boy found “compromising pictures” of his father. Cory Redwine, Dylan’s older brother, said Monday that he has seen the photos. He told ABC affiliate KMGH they “show him wearing women’s clothes and makeup and a diaper and then eating his feces from the diaper. It was disgusting. We couldn’t believe it.”

Yikes! Is the Daily Beast a legitimate news site?

I've read similar accounts about the diaper and the feces eating. Truly disturbing!

Poor lil boy. How sad. I wish the court system related to custody and visitation would take these situations more case by case. Some parents should never have access to their children.
