I'm absolutely not on his side, but PCP is definitely a crazy drug, not from experience but I took some psychology classes and it really does make people act crazy. Such a tragedy though that someone had to perish in his drug induced war path. Imagine if he had taken it out on his daughter as well.

Man convicted of killing 19-year-old Va. student - NBC12.com - Richmond, VA News

FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) - A man who admitted to being high on PCP when he fatally stabbed a teenager while she gave him and his infant daughter a ride to a hospital has been convicted of first-degree murder.

A Fairfax County jury on Thursday night convicted 27-year-old Julio Blanco Garcia for the June 2010 slaying of 19-year-old Vanessa Pham of Falls Church.

Pham was been found dead in her car in a ditch. Blanco Garcia was arrested last year after police found DNA evidence linking him to the killing.

Prosecutors say Blanco Garcia planned to kill Pham, whom he stabbed 13 times.

The jury recommended a sentence of 49 years for Blanco Garcia. A judge will sentence him on Oct. 18.

Well that's a relief.

50 to 100 years ago people blamed alcohol for whatever they did.

Incredibly, some idiot judges used to let them off for that reason too.

So they had him and released him. Is this a sanctuary city? If so, the victim's family should sue them into bankruptcy. There are too many stories about illegal aliens that get released in a sanctuary city only to kill people later.

Political correctness run amok.

MOD NOTE;

Edited title of this thread....which highlighted that the killer was an illegal alien. This was a horrific crime, not really sure what the point was to highlight it was an illegal alien who committed the crime, as legal citizens commit crimes on a daily basis as well.

If the intent of the OP was to discuss the crime, the thread is open for discussion...discussions about illegal immigration can be discussed on other forums. Thank you.
