a 13 month old gets shot in the face in Atlanta. the person who did it was found guilty the other day. For some reason I can't find one shred of anything on here about it. MOD CUT This crime is one of the most heinous crimes I've ever heard about in this country.
What level of depravity to shoot a baby? What a despicable scumbag. Some people are just too dysfunctional to live in society. Very sad that this little child crossed paths with that sociopath.
This sounds an awful lot like one of those staged crimes where the mom wants to get rid of her child and stages a fake robbery to cover the fact that she is having her child iced. You know, like Diane Down. A baby poses no threat to a robber and it makes no sense to kill the only witness who cannot finger the assailant to the cops. And if I were being robbed by a guy with a gun, I would expect to be the one getting shot -- not the baby. Was the mother even injured? The article is gone from the linked page so I have no details...
I read the first link. It doesn't say there was a purse. It says she told them she had no money. She was shot in the leg.
It's interesting that a significant part towards the end of the article is devoted to the possibility the parents are the real killers.
Regardless of who did it, it's horrific someone would shoot a baby in the face. So sad.
